EnergenieMiHome Smart Nickel 2-Gang Light Switch - Energenie

Last year I replace all my single switches with Engenie switches, since then I've been waiting (impatiently) for several months for the double switch to put into the kitchen and lounge. Its got the same good build quality, installation is easy.The real negative to this switch is, if you press 1 button, you have to wait several seconds before you can push this other which is incredibly frustrating. Personally, I can live with this, but the wife keeps nagging my ear off and demanding I swap it back - I'm praying she just gives in and forgets it!

Used this to replace a 2 gang switch for kitchen lights. It works but be warned - you can only press it every 3 seconds, so if you're using it manually you cant turn both lights on instantly. You can press one then hold the other and it'll turn on after 3 seconds.Very long delay when using mihome app or Alexa. It works most of the time (its failed to work correctly a few times, only one has come on) but turning 3 lights off (I have a single and this double) takes it around 15 to 20 seconds, so you're sat there wondering if it's going to work or not!This delay may be the same as with 3 singles but I'm not sure.Only just put it in but not immediately that impressed with it.Edit: Ive had it 2 days now. Its needed resetting twice. It only works around half the time. Ive got a single switch Ive had for around 8 months which only occasionally fails. This one is awful. I possibly have a faulty unit but going to return it and not try another.

After pressing the left switch, you have to wait probably around 5 seconds or so before pressing the right switch - I'm hoping I can get used to it. But its extremely slow.If you press the left and then the right too quickly, it can get confused and seem to crash or reset.I've got several of the single Energenie ones, which are good. This one seems a major step down, disappointing considering they have only just released the double switch - you'd think they'd go forward not back.update: Now doesn't work at all and is past the return date.100% useless, will be ditching the whole Energenie system when I can.

Great idea and product however the complete system seems rather unstable- the hub keeps losing connection to devices. In addition to this switch I have 10 other devices connected to the system including power controllers, radiator valves and they regularly lose connection to the hub - very annoying

Waste of money .. I have the hub for the plug sockets but it keeps saying it must update the firmware from the app .. I can’t figure out how to do this and believe me I tried .. I contacted customer support about 3 weeks ago and haven’t got a reply

Nice quality but TOO SLOW to respond to alexa commands sometimes. They need to improve their servers response times

Seems to be a good quality product. Software stable. Works with alexa well

The lights randomly turn on and off for no reason. Not easy to set up on the App. Huge delay in been able to use one light before you can use the other. Not happy with purchase
