Great sheen, non-irritating. Will buy again and again for use as a basic haircare product. I hope this product is here to stay. Everything else is alcohol based due to lazy chemistry of the people wanting to mass produce using pure compounds. Hims spray, for example, is basically lab grade salt compounds in very pure alcohol. Always irritating to me. I have a feeling the alcohol/cheap carriers and nonhydrated salts are often problematic and not taken advantage of for synergistic formulas. THIS product is different, actually acting similar to a hair product I have been hunting for years that left the market. It was a single-drop hair leave-in detangler and sheen oil, it could make a homeless person look (and smell) like they just left a salon. Pure magic One drop for most people, two drops for long hair. Unbelievable results. This product has a similar effect. I can still feel the salts in the carrier fluid, but they arent the same. The carrier has some viscosity but great lubricating properties, as well. Apparently the size of nanox. VS monox. is perceptable to touch. It feels less chemically abrasive as it dries. A smaller salt compound, I assume, or other additives are keeping the texture from being exposed, ot both. I assume this property helps the medicine permiate easier. Anyway, it is definitely very pleasing to the scalp which I did not expect. I learned to expect a burning sensation from alcohol in other products. I believe this is formulated very well for actual daily real life use. I will use daily if even only just to give that top-shelf look, smell and feel to the hair I do have. I believe I will try other products by this company because they just gained my trust for having exceptional formulation in this. When you know you need to commit to a product long term, its nice to find that product is exceptional and pleasing. Hims fin/mox was very irritating, in fact almost everything meant to "stimulate" hair is really irritating to my scalp, sometimes causing bumps. I can't be the only one who thinks monox/rogaine is really irritating, more so when paired w finesteride. Great chemistry here with the nanox! Well done.

Hair was shedding randomly and thinning a lot for no apparent reason. This product started working immediately and was noticeable within a week. It continues to work and holds off the shedding and itchy alopecia. It takes squirting a small amount on every area that has an issue and try to keep it on the scalp rather than soaking into the hair. Use a comb shortly after and your hair will also stay in place. No noticeable side effects which is excellent because Rogaine is horrible and has a ton of side effects. Anyone who uses this should also be avoiding chemicals in their diet, staying hydrated with clean spring water and getting plenty of rest. This product won't stop someone from being an unhealthy human being with health conditions but if you take care of yourself and just need the right catalyst to effect the positive change your hair needs, this product works amazingly well. If it doesn't work chances are you have a more serious health issue to address. Ordering their other products to maximize the effects!

I'll get the elephant out of the room right away. Spectral DNC-N is not a hair regrowth product, it's a "redensifying serum". Nanoxidil is DS Labs' trademark for their combination of active ingredients like caffeine and biotin, not an actual drug like Minoxidil. I do not agree with their marketing that calls it a Minoxidil alternative; it does not do the same thing. As long as you don't expect Spectral DNC-N to regrow hair, it's an outstanding conditioner. I've used it for about a year, applying it daily as instructed on the label. I did not see new hair regrowth. If you want to actually regrow hair, DS Labs has products that contain Minoxidil. Now for the good news. What I did notice is an observable reduction is shedding and a noticeable improvement in the health and thickness of the hair that I have. It might not reverse hair loss, but I feel that it absolutely stops it from getting worse. I don't use any other hair loss products or therapies, so I'm comfortable attributing my increased scalp health and hair quality to Spectral DNC-N. It does not dry out your scalp and cause flaking or have other negative side-effects like Minoxidil can, and it's non-greasy, which is a huge bonus. It's a little on the pricey side, but it's the best leave-in treatment that I've tried, and I continue to use it.

I've been using DS Labs products for years and have seen product quality waver while prices only go up. This most recent order they delayed for several days and then sent me 2 years expired product. That really shows you how much DS Labs cares about its customers. As a reward for my patience and loyalty I got a bottle of unusable gunk that expired in 2024. I'm blown away. I knew right away that the product was old because it came in packaging that they don't even use anymore. You'd think a company with as much success as DS Labs could afford to discard their expired junk instead of trying to pawn it off on loyal customers but no. The fact that they even kept this stuff in their inventory much less sent it to a customer after repeatedly delaying their order speaks volumes for what kind of company this is. Needless to say I won't be buying their stuff anymore. Ideally companies should seek to provide better products and better service over time, but this is not that. Cool formulas and good product concepts but I cannot continue giving my business to a company that tries to make a quick buck off by offloading expired inventory to their customers.

Less than 2 weeks in and my hair is looking fuller and more healthy than it has in 2 years. Nanoxidil seems to work in a similar way to minoxidil.
