Cotton comfort
I purchased a new feather duvet insert from Costco and was in search of a high quality product to pair my insert with. I used the Hotel Grand brand duvet insert, $100 on sale at Costco. After a lot of online research, very few products met my criteria:-High thread count-zipper closure-percale cotton-100% cotton-machine washableIt is made in Peru. Made in USA would have been ideal. This met all criteria. It is soft to the touch and washes easily. It keeps cool even in warmer weather and pairs well with the duvet insert. The product has 4 corner ties at each corner to secure the insert.I think 2 more in the middle would be ideal to further secure the insert because it is a bit more difficult to make sure the insert is fully evenly distributed if it is your first time doing this process. The colors leave something to be desired, but I am happy with the muted beige for my initial purchase.Overall, the pairing of a duvet cover and duvet insert is more expensive, but well worth it. It definitely beats a comforter or other similar substitutes.

Crisp and cool
I am very satisfied with this duvet cover. It definitely has the correct thread count. It is very crisp and thick, but still breathable. It's a very bright white color. The zipper works. Nice and cool for sleeping. I'm impressed with the quality.

Superb Comfort but Weird Design
As an extremely hot sleeper, I am partial to percale. I have found it to be, by far, the most cooling of materials to sleep on or under ever since I was a child. Like many others, I have been trying to find the type of "vintage" percale that we grew up with: thick, heavy, and super crisp. I even remember the frayed edges of my childhood percale top sheet. I've never been able to find anything like it since then, and this duvet cover is no exception. However, this is the first time I've ever tried pima cotton. I was initially skeptical, questioning how much different could it possibly be from just regular (and less expensive) cotton. Well I can definitely tell you that it IS noticeably different, in both good and bad ways. The first thing I noticed is that this material is significantly softer than my other percale bedding. You can tell that the weave is definitely percale, but more "buttery" feeling. It's actually quite luxurious. Not at all what I expected, but it was a pleasant surprise nonetheless. I can honestly say I've never experienced anything like it, and have to admit that it is extremely comfortable.Still though, it's not the thick, crisp material I was hoping for. It's not extremely thin, probably more of a medium thickness that leans more on the thinner side. It's still crispy, but not a harsh crisp. I think this pima cotton percale would appeal to both percale lovers and sateen lovers alike. It has the matte look of percale, the cool crispness of percale, but also the smooth softness of sateen. I use a lightweight mulberry silk comforter inside this cover and it is absolute bliss. The only real complaint I have about this duvet cover is the design. The zippered opening is fantastic, and the hem around it is such a great feature. But what I absolutely hate are the two gaping holes (one on each side) at the top corners. When I first saw it, I thought the cover was damaged. It looked like it had come loose at the seams. Especially since there is a loose piece of thread in that area (see attached photo). But then I saw there was another hole of the same size in the opposite corner, so I came back to this listing to read the description. Sure enough, these holes are intentional and not the result of damage or poor craftsmanship. Apparently they exist to make adjusting the insert easier, but I think it's a totally useless and unnecessary feature for two reasons: 1) corner ties keep the insert in place making the holes redundant and 2) it exposes the insert making it less protected. Why bother having a zippered enclosure to seal everything in if there's going to be openings at the top? Personally I prefer zippered duvet covers specifically to keep the entire insert sealed up, making it more resistant to dust mites. So I just hate that they've included these holes and I've never seen this before in any duvet cover. The "hole" situation nearly had me giving this cover 3 stars instead of 4, but it's just so comfortable that I'm willing to overlook it. Now that I've tried pima cotton percale, I am spoiled and don't think I could go back to using anything else. I just hope that Peru Pima will reconsider the design and get rid of those holes because they're unnecessary and unsightly.

Best duvet cover ever.
Pros: If you want to feel like you are in a hotel room, this is the duvet cover for you. It is luxurious, soft, durable, and at the correct temperature.Cons: You may need to iron or steam to remove wrinkles after washing.

Very very good!
Big fan of this duvet cover. We searched high and low. Love that it's Peruvian cotton and it feels amazing and cool on your skin. Seems like it will last. We have washed it 6-8 times already and feels great. Only suggestion to manufacturer is maybe introduce some patterns to the design to make additional options but we are big fans and will be ordering more.

Best Duvet Cover I have ever had!
This duvet cover is everything: super soft (and keeps getting better after every wash), durable (I wash mine often), the zipper at the bottom has no issues closing/opening (even after all those washes), and it's beautiful. It does wrinkle a bit but it's so beautiful and comfortable that I don't mind that so much. I would ask the seller to make the zipper handles bigger, that would be my only complaint (it hurts my hands a bit to pull it through). Oh, by the way, you can't see or feel the zipper because it has a nice extra edge of fabric at the very bottom in case you were worried about it. It's expensive but worth every penny. Will order again soon! :)
