ONA - The Brixton - Camera Messenger Bag - Smoke Waxed Canvas (ONA5-013GR)

This bag is so close to perfect, however is has some major flaws. It does NOT fit a 2013 13" Macbook Pro Retina very well with the insert that comes with it. I was torn because I loved this bag, but my laptop is a very very tight fit with the dividers that come with it. So I purchased the Union bag to see if that would work better. It came with a defect and I liked the Brixton better. I took the insert out of the Union and returned it with my Brixton one. The Union divider is a little wider and fits great in the Brixton bag. This gives me the PERFECT bag now. Too bad they didn't double check the sizes before advertising that it fits a 13" Macbook.*Super high quality materials, I can tell this bag will last a lifetime. Very happy with my purchase

Pros- Nice design and quality is great.- I can fit my 13" laptop and Fuji X-E2 camera and extra lens no problem.- Stylish - I've received many complements on it.- Leather is nice.- Good padding for cam.Cons- The shoulder pad slips. You'll have to adjust often.- No dedicated place for business cards or memory cards.- No strap to keep laptop in place.- I wish the buckles were the magnetic kind so you can easily open for quick access to camera.- I wish it had leather on the bottom.

Ideal for smaller SLRs and a couple of lenses and a few accessories. It is not suitable for a pro body like a D4. My D800 with vertical grip won't fit very well.A standard body SLR, or any mirror-less body will be fine.The bag itself is very well made and of superior quality, which is just as well, they are not cheap but the quality matches the price.

I returned it. Not especially well made (although the leather work is nice) and poorly designed in some respects (the strap pad for instance is the same waxed canvas as the bag, thus ensuring it will slip off your shoulder repeatedly. Might not be a problem if you could replace the shoulder strap with something else, but you can't). My overall impression was of a product designed largely to part you from your cash by appealing to your sense of fashion, rather than to perform its function well.I added a photo that shows sloppy manufacturing on the front of the bag where it's very visible.Great fashion accessory maybe, but not a great camera bag.

I bought this bag to carry around my new Canon 6D. It's been great, it's casual yet stylish when I need it to be. It's big, but any DSLR bag that can hold an extra lens or two is going to be big. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.

This bag is amazing, the build quality and attention to detail is well worth the price. I love the size as it isn't too big and cumbersome like others, the canvas is heavy and strong and the leather is exquisite.Now for my equipment that I carry. Normally I just have my 5d3 with 24-70 F2.8 attached with hood in there and other non photo things as my day bag. But I can fit fully the 5d3 with 24-70, 580ex II and probably squeeze in a 70-200. Now the 5d3's viewfinder bulge makes it a tight fit, it makes the bag bulge ever so slightly but not enough to really be noticeable.

I bought this in 2014 and probably use it once a month on average. typically I carry a DSLR and 1 or 2 lenses in it. I use the shoulder strap mostly. Last month the strap broke off.... not good for a bag this expensive.

Absolutely love the Brixton in Smoke. The durability is outstanding, the strap is so comfortable that when I'm wearing it cross body, it doesn't pull on my shoulder. I can easily fit my FF DSLR & 3 lenses in the pockets as well as my iPad mini in the padded interior rear pocket. Pockets in the front are great, side pockets are a little harder to get to, but perfect for pens, lens brushes, etc. Back pocket is great and typically where I carry my cell phone and a slim wallet.
