Great length. Good padding in the hands- arms are not padded but the leather is of sufficient thickness that good protection is assured.

I bought these gloves when I was caring for a semi-feral mother cat with young kittens. She had a tendency to bite or lash out when I would try to clean the cage or deliver food. These gloves protected my hands from bites easily!! They are thick and that does make it hard to do fine motor skills, but not getting bit is the better alternative. Please don’t think that these will hold up to big dogs or a strong bite. Some of these reviews seem to think that these will protect like the gloves used to train attack dogs. They’re great for cats and dogs that may nip quickly in fear. Not for larger aggressive dogs.

Good no bites

Product is ok, I just expected more thickness. I don’t know how long this will hold up, but hoping for the best. Would I recommend? Possibly If you have a really strong dog then it might not hold up. If your dog isn’t as strong and rough, probably will be fine.

Purrfect for assistance in handling stray and feral cats at the feeding stations. We participate in capturing spay/neuter and release of the cats can’t be tamed for rehousing. Tough gloves.

My daughter was having issues with her parrot and was quickly growing frightened of him. She said she had been bitten a few times. I researched gloves and it was a struggle to choose a pair. So happy that these fit the "Bill", so to speak . She can successfully put her arm into the cage, give him food/water and give him a few gentle love pats. But confidently.

They work! My cat gets very mad at the vet, she has skin issues, so we need to treat them, she hates being touched on the legs, but she has fungus or some kind of skin condition, we need to shave and scrub the barbs off weekly, this has been going on for awhile. I got bit several months ago, a very very deep puncture, had to take anti-biotics and get an updated tetanus shot. After that, I said no more. I need to protect my hands especially. My cat when she bites not just bites she tears very hard, and it very painful. so... I bought handling gloves, these, and they work great. People laugh, but... I no longer have puncture wounds. Also my cat sorta knows she cannot get through the material, she feels defeated so, they work, highly recommended!!!!!

I ordered a paid and they started falling apart after the first use. I did an exchange and the second pair was of a better quality. I am giving three stars since the first pair was awful but the replacement has seen to be more worthwhile.
