The End of Money: Bible Prophecy and the Coming Economic Collapse

Money, Economics and Bible Prophecy
Don't be confused by the title The End of Money. Money is defined as a medium of exchange and in one form or another it has been around since recorded time. Mr. Hitchcock does not portray an end to money in all its various forms but rather an end to paper money as we know it.Skillfully Mr. Hitchcock identifies the current macroeconomic environment in easy to understand terms. Without the typical fear mongering and hype associated with the subject he provides a realistic vision of the future economic and technological trends in light of Bible prophecy. His elucidation of the subject is well served by this approach. There is one major area which I believe Mr. Hitchcock's premise is lacking. His analytical framework in large part is built upon a seven year tribulation. This idea underpins much of his synchronisms between current economic trends and future eschatological events. What many do not realize is a seven year tribulation is not once specifically mentioned in the Scripture. The primary source for this well-known theory is an interpretation of the famous prophecy of 70 weeks found in Daniel 9. Mr. Hitchcock's interpretation in turn is based upon an unproven assumption regarding the Persian king Longimanus. Like the esteemed chronologists Ussher, Rawlinson, Newton, and Anderson before him, Mr. Hitchock, without any specific Biblical evidence, assumes the Artaxerxes of Ezra and Nehemiah is a reference to the Persian Longimanus. Considering the importance of this premise to Bible prophecy, it should be established upon a rock solid Biblical foundation. It is my hope that in his future writings Mr. Hitchcock will address this deficiency. In summary, I think The End of Money: Bible Prophecy and the Coming Economic Collapse is a valuable contribution to the subject of a future worldwide economic system as it would relate to Bible prophecy. Though I do not agree with all of Mr. Hitchcock's conclusions, this book is a well written and easy to read primer on the subject. This book is worth adding to your library if you want to better understand the pre-tribulational view of eschatology.

I like it but.....
..rather hard to get into but it does build. Think a start with briefest history of attempts to start a National Bank including today's Fed Reserve (the 3rd Bank of the United States) and why each were either ended or has such unlimited, unaccountable power by 7 banks and 7 (I think) families (descendants of the Followers in Jekyll Island GA 1913 where they got the law put forth, encouraged and signed by W Wilson in return for finances to get him reelected. Wilson later said it was the most damning thing he did to destroy this country.I do think the book would then flow directly into the One World System (first mentioned by Orwell in 1940 and GHWBush in his victory Congressional speech after the 100 DAY 1st Gulf War and then the Mark of the Beast ( has JP Morgan and Citi have are testing and want some sort of mark on the body to get rid of credit cards and cash (it will be promoted as security from ID theft). You must remember our Founders: He who gives up his freedom for more security, looses the first and gets more of the latter than he thought. Such are past movies: soylent green, logans run, wild in the streets, planet of the apes #1.

The End of Money is As Close as your Credit Card
The End of Money was an excellent book! Mark Hitchcock is an excellent writer of Biblical facts. He has done a great deal of research to write this book. I appreciate him and I know the time he put into research. If you want to know about the Last Days before our Lord returns buy and read this book. I have studied a lot of the prophecies in the Bible and he is right on. Jesus is coming soon folks, look around, the world is getting worse, not better. God's plan is in the forward mode and He will not be stopped. Many things have taken place that the Bible has prophesied in both Old and New Testaments. Read the Word along with this book and you will know Mark is right on the money!

The End of Money is a great book. But I also have the book Cashless ...
The End of Money is a great book. But I also have the book Cashless by Mark Hitchcock and they are one and the same book just a different title. So if you think it would have a different spin on the subject like I did it won't it is one and the same book with a different title. I just don't know why he would do such a thing like that other than to sell more books.

End of Money or End of Times? Read to find out.
I truly believe that Mark Hitchcock wrote this book guided by the hand of God. This book is a fabulous analysis of scripture and money, how we will be affected by today's technology and how it fits into scripture that was written 2000 years ago. The words cashless, biometrics, Antichrist, and Iraq don't seem to be connected ,but they are. Read this great book and find out how.

The End of Your Money
This is the second book I've read by Mark Hitchcock. The End of Money offers a few more details about the coming destruction of the current monetary system. In general, however, that information is filled out with the same end time explanations offered in his book, "The End", which I loved.I was hoping for more suggestions on how to prepare yourself for the coming fiscal catastrophe.

The End of Money is a wake up call.
The end of money is a frightening look and today's economy in light of the Scriptures. It brings home the notion of fragility of man's security by means of cash and possessions.

A sound picture of the future
A good read; not as sensational as I had feared, and apart from his conclusion about the "city" of Babylon there is little that I found fault with. It is a solemn picture that is painted but one that will surely be upon us within a short space of time.
