Within two days the white plastic casing came off and I am unable to reattach it. The clipper seems to fit over a small round bump in the case but the bump isn't high enough to hold it on.They don't seem to work well for toenails because the magnifier is at the wrong angle for me to grasp the toenail with the clipper and still have it in view. Although I don't need it for fingernails, I found it pleasant to use for that.

It does cut and capture clippings, but it is cumbersome and the magnifying glass has a very short focal length. Tossed it and purchased a better one. Not recommended

Unfortunately the return window just closed yesterday. I'm hoping Amazon or the seller sees this post, takes pity and lets me return them. I bought two of these as Christmas presents. One for my mom and one for my husband. My husband hasn't tried his yet. My mom returned hers to me yesterday saying she cannot use it. I tried it and see what she means. Because the thing is so bulky and I could not adjust the magnifier to show where the clippers make contact with my toenail (see attached picture) I ended up clipping skin on my big toe and made it bleed - something I've never done before with regular toenail clippers.The picture is from amazon. I added the red arrow to show where you end up viewing through the magnifier if you use it as in the picture. I tried lifting the magnifier higher so that I could see what the clipper was doing, but then the image is so large and blurry I couldn't see well anyway. I experimented on my fingernail and found that with the magnifier set up like in the picture I can tilt the clipper+magnifier together at an angle such that I can see where the clipper touches my fingernail. But this was not possible for me to do with my toenails.

It would be nicer if it came with a pouch to keep the magnifying glass protected.

I really like this clipper with the magnifying glass. Although my vision is good, this clipper helps me get better shaping on my nails at just the right length. It's very sharp and clipping is so easy. Very nice tool.

うちのお婆ちゃんはずっとこのような爪切りが欲しくて、前日あげたとき、すごく喜んでくれた、ルーペ付きタイプだから、お婆ちゃん自分で使える。

ルーペが便利かと思い購入しましたが、今ひとつでした。というのはルーペの焦点が合わないのです。結局１０ｃｍぐらい離さないと焦点が合いませんでした。（個人差があると思います）なので、かえってルーペを付けての爪切りはぼやけてやりにくいです。切れ味は良かったのですが、ルーペは少々不満です。

視力が弱くなってきた両親のため購入しました。爪が大きく見えるので便利なようです。ただしルーペの角度が限定されているため見辛いことがあるようです。個体差なのかもしれません。神経質になるほどではありませんので割り切ってしまうのが良いと思います。
