I design physical products and needed a set of gauges to QA the prototypes sent back from my supplier. I like how this set is organized in the compact case, as opposed to the multi-tool styles that are available. Each piece offers 2 convex and 3 concave options for measuring your corners and fillets. The gauges come in half-millimeter increments, and I have no doubt in the reading when I'm taking measurements. The spring-loaded wand can hold the gauges at 90 or 45 degree angles for hard to reach places. I probably won't use it that much, but it's nice to have. The vinyl snap case keeps the set organized, and is perfectly suited for my indoor needs. If I use this outdoors or on the road, I would be concerned about losing pieces, and durability of the case bouncing around in a toolbox.
