Beautifully conceived and a perfect presentation of the greatness of Sant Kabirdas.

The English text is not at all a translation of the verses. It is a re-interpretation by the author. Since Mehrotraji himself is a good poet the English poems are not bad... but they are not exactly what Kabir wrote. It reads more like Kabir's sentiment expressed in the author's words rather than Kabir's poems translated to English.The production of the book is amazing and it's a real collector's edition. Just disappointed that it's not what it claims to be.

Well translated. Obscure dohas included. Translated well for today's English reader. Bilingual version was a rare find. The copy in itself arrived in pristine condition. All in all, very happy with this buy.

the cover, the format of the book is great!but if you are looking for english translation of Kabirs works, and are seeking Kabir's words and his heart! This book is very unsatisfactory as the author has given his own interpretation of the poems by Kabir and so there are many places where lines are skipped or not incorporated in the english interpretation and found many areas of interpretation too very unsatisfactory!

The book is aesthetically pleasing and that's it. The looks are its only merit. So if you're one of those who do indeed judge a book by its cover then go ahead and buy one. The translations are not as pithy as the source material and even though some things do get lost in translation, a better job could have been done. So very disappointing.

Incredible. Kabir Himself needs no introduction but the translation by the author, himself a great poet, is top notch. Simple, sweet and direct.
