Q: Can I put the door in in the morning and remove it at night? It is not stationary? If so, it will interfere with my security system.

Hello, Rose! This door is designed to be semi-permanent. It can be placed in, and removed from, the door track easily though. However, if you choose to not secure it to the door frame, you will not be able to use the lock feature. The door frame will be stationary during use, but the flexible vinyl flap will move as your pet goes through. Additionally, nothing about the door should inherently cause interference with your security system. If this is a concern, it may be best to speak with your security system provider though.

Q: I cannot find the connecting bars that are supposed to come with this in my packaging. Are they located somewhere strange?

Q: I have a 90# greyhound and a 7# yorkie mix. Could my Yorkese open the large door?

I have a 75 pound bulldog, and a 15 pound cockapoo. The smaller dog can open without any problems, as the magnet at the bottom is not overly strong. I think a 7 lb dog could as well, once it gets used to pushing the bottom edge open.
