100% Worth the Money. Fantastic Value for the Money.
I'm just going to paste my little review that I posted in r/buildapcsales on reddit as that's where I was made aware of this keyboard. Bear with me, as I'm not super experienced or a very good writer. Also, you will see many references to GMMK. This is the Glorious Modular Mechanical Keyboard. It is my only other mechanical keyboard and has linear switches vs this kb's "clicky" switches. In the photos included with the review, the bottom(also left) keyboard is this Magicelec and the above(right) is the Glorious Modular Mechanical Keyboard(with Halloween themed lighting).Okay, so I'm typing on this board right now.Right out of the box, I was impressed with the feel. It's weighty. Solid, very minimal deck flex. It doesn't have a premium look to it, but it also doesn't look or feel cheap. It is plastic all around with what appears to be an aluminum top plate. Minimal branding, just "magicelec" with a small mustache logo over it sitting above the arrow keys. The only other markings on the board are NUM, CAPS, and SCL (in a fairly ugly font) above the lock indicators. It has a channel on the bottom to allow the braided USB cable to be routed towards the left or right sides, or remain centered. Same as on my GMMK.The box only came with the keyboard in a plastic bag and a basic instructional manual. No keycap puller or anything.I tested each key right away once it was plugged in. Each key worked as indicated first stroke no problem. The keys do have a substantial amount of wobble to them. Especially the space bar. If you shake the board, the space bar is going to be the only noise you really hear. If you grab a key by the corners and tweak it, it has significant movement, but just using your finger tips, it's not as bad and hasn't really affected me yet. Now, my only experience with mechanical keyboards has been with linear kailh box reds. These Outemu blue switches are certainly clicky and definitely feel better to type with than linear switches (personally). Each key feels consistent in the amount of force required to actuate and in the clicky and slight tactile feedback. I can't say that I'm a HUGE fan of clicky switches(due to the noise), but it is a little satisfying and I can understand why those who type a lot often prefer clicky. The keycaps are the same double shot ABS that came with my GMMK. I pulled some off of each and they're pretty much exactly the same, including font(slight variances). The shine through is actually better than the keycaps on my GMMK. It is clear on every single key, where on my GMMK there are a lot of keys that are not uniform and honestly look kind of bad.The board is beautifully backlit and uniform across it's entirety. Fn+ScrLk will cycle through the different pre-programmed led modes. Fn+Up or Down arrows adjust brightness. If you are using a mode that has a cycle/breathe effect, etc, Fn+Left and Right arrows slow down or speed up the led effect.Full F row functionality. Bring up a calculator, file explorer, dedicated media keys, etc.I mean honestly, considering the number of features that are the same or similar to my GMMK, I feel like I absolutely paid too much for that board. This is a great purchase for $20 if you don't mind clicky switches. And if you are unfamiliar with clicky switches (as I was) you could buy this full board for less than it would cost to get some clickys for your hot swappable board.I just don't see any major downsides to this board in it's immediate use. Will this thing last more than a few weeks, months, years even? Time will tell, but out of the box, this thing is absolutely worth $20 without a doubt.Just take everything here with a grain of salt. I've watched plenty of YT videos on KBs but only own one other mechanical and don't have the experience to give any real in depth insights or comparisons to other boards. I hope anyone else who bought this is as satisfied as I am with it so far!

Awesome Keyboard for the money!
I have spent hundreds of dollars on gaming keyboards over the years, all to get the right response time and the right clicky sound. I purchased Logitech, Razer, Corsair, Roccat, and I have always been really disappointed with them. I mean they are supposed to be the big dog on the market, all the best gamer's and streamers endorse them but I wanted to try something different. I came across this keyboard mostly from the reviews and because of the response time but also one of the big drawls for me was the different color effects it offers. They are so cool and I have never seen any of those high priced keyboards offer that. I am redoing my streaming and gaming setup and I am all about the RGB lighting and this is bright and stellar. It is extremely well constructed. It doesn't at all feel cheap, I am always skeptic when I see computer peripherals under a certain dollar amount. But something just told me to buy this keyboard and give it a try and I am positively in love with it. The response time is absolutely incredible, especially in FPS games like Call of Duty and The Division when you need to swap through guns. For BR's like Fortnite and Apex it is so smooth transitioning. With MMORPG's and if you PVP in those games you are tapping that ability so much quicker than your opponent and that makes all the difference in and arena. If you are skeptical of lower priced keyboards like I was I encourage you to try this keyboard out because you will not be disappointed with your decision and purchase.

but it's fine for use at home or in your private office
I bought this keyboard about a month ago. I've been using it quite a bit. I'm not having any issues with it. The mechanical key action is exactly what they claimed it to be. Clicky and tactile. You probably wouldn't want to use this in an office cubicle environment (unless you wanted to annoy your cubicle mates), but it's fine for use at home or in your private office. I like having the loud clicky mechanical keys while I'm writing. I learned how to type on a manual typewriter (Yes... I'm old). So yeah, this keyboard is so wildly appropriate for me. On a comparison note.... This keyboard is just as good as any Ducky Shine mechanical keyboard that I've used...I think the build quality seems to be even better... The price on this is a steal. Buy it! You won't be disappointed. The Good:Excellent build quality and materials. This keyboard is solidly built and ecievingly heavy!Great length on the USB cable. Also very high quality. the USB has the same fabric sheath on the cable just like the Razor products do.This is a full sized keyboard w/numpadThe only "Cons" I can come up with is:There are no additional built-in USB extension ports on this keyboard (some people like having extra-usb ports built into the keyboard. The instructions were a bit unclear on how to change the keyboard's LED light settings around.. It took me a few minutes to figure it out how to do it.. But I managed to figure it out...Verdict: This keyboard is a steal for the price...

Cheap, Good Triggering, and Durable Too
I like this. Cheap, works well, the click is nice; mainly, it is very cheap and fast-trigger for a mechanical keyboard. My older mechanical keyboard had cost me a lot more, and it feels very similar to this one.Interesting Experience --> I have found out that this is a durable keyboard. I spilled an entire coffee on my keyboard (luckily everything was turned off). I mean, an *entire* coffee. It spilled, and waterfalls all over this keyboard. I ended up quick soaking some alcohol over it and rubbing all the liquids off before leaving it in a high-temp low-humidity room for ~24+ hours. I then washed every key and mechanical component with rubbing alcohol and cotton swabs. After a couple run-throughs of alcohol, I let it dry and tested it... it works! Fine! So, this is also a pretty durable keyboard. It survived a coffee spill and the keys seem to actuate no differently after proper cleaning.
