Kailash: In Quest of the Self

I found this book very interesting. it’s a translation to English and the translator seemed to be able to keep the mood of the original language. There are many photos throughout the book which help you visualize what he was seeing or who he was meeting. Also there are many photos of him at different locations. If you like spiritual adventures you’ll probably like this book. Also the book has been printed on high-quality paper and in an easy to read font and spacing. As a side-note on page 33 NagaBaba is the one in the middle in white and on page 46 he’s the one on the left-hand side.

Let your imagination a free rein and walk with Swamiji on the tough terrain. Let his words be your footsteps and see what it feels to witness the brilliance of Mount Kailash and Lake Manasarovar. His various experiences with difficult situations and his Guru's timely and divine interventions to ensure his safe and sure journey to the destination and back, reiterates the reader's faith. The language is simple and succinct so has an easy appeal.

This book takes you to all the places where Swamiji travelled. His language is simple & he talks about all his experiences in a matter of fact way, but still after reading this book I felt something so different. You cannot miss the palpable energy this book exudes.

Very good insight into pilgrimage of Kailash!!!

While it is true that Shirdi Baba has truly blessed the author to undertake such a journey very little is mentioned of spirituality as such in the book. The book is more about the author's experiences of his journey. One reason why the book is expensive (add Rs.100 for delivery, total Rs.500) is because the of the glossy good quality paper used. Wouldn't recommend the book as a spiritual companion.
