Works perfect for making l. reuteri yogurt and l. gasseri yogurt. I just selected the Rice Wine function and increased the temperature to 38C then pressed the power button. It was already preset to 36 hours. It just fits one quart of half-and-half when using a pill as the starter. Both yogurts came out thick. My next batch will be using 2 tablespoons of the l. reuteri yogurt as the starter, so the whole quart of half-and-half may not fit.

Update: On the third use, noticed condensation on the numeral display. The outer lid appears to direct water into the control panel. On the next use the unit beeped uncontrollably and the number display flashed. The controls no longer worked. Very disappointing since it worked really well. Until it didn't

Worked well 4 or 5 times then just wouldn't function at all. Returned. Was able to set time and temperature which was nice.

I'm thrilled with my Automatic Yogurt Maker! It arrived quickly, and my first batch of yogurt turned out perfect! The adjustable temp and time controls are easy to use, and the LED display is a great feature. The stainless steel inner bowl with airtight lid is a bonus for storing yogurt. No more store-bought yogurt for me! Highly recommend this affordable and easy-to-use yogurt maker!

The capacity is very small but the item takes up a lot of room. Returned it...

I have a yogurt maker that costs much more than this one and love it. I thought it would be good to be able to make two batches at a time, but this product is not durable. It holds an okay amount, but the problem is with the design. I do not know how water got into the control panel but it clearly did and it stopped working after my fourth batch. If you want something cheap and easy to use a couple of times, this is decent. If this is going to be your main go to? I wouldn't suggest it.

So far, it's is just what I wanted. I'm making vegan yogurt and a variety of vinegars. The constant temperature settings ae perfect for the long acetification process needed for the vinegar and the fermentation of yogurt. Still waiting for the output of my final batch, but if it is less than perfect, I doubt this tool will be the cause.
