My husband just started making YouTube videos and wanted this gimbal while recording on the go. It’s amazing how it follows you when you move around! One thing he couldn’t get to work though was the multifunctional module that tracks you remotely. The light on the unit was constantly red, and none of the hand signals to activate it worked. Assuming it was incompatible with his iPhone 15, he was ready to return it and buy the cheaper Osmo model without this unit (though the loss of the light would have been disappointing), when he decided to try it one last time. He hadn’t yet opened the DJI Mimo app and noticed the light was green on the module for once. So instead of opening the app, he opened the iPhone’s camera, and suddenly, the module worked! It responded to all the hand signals and tracked him effortlessly.So if you’re having trouble using the multifunctional module, DO NOT USE THE DJI APP. Just use your normal phone camera app. It’s obvious now in the instructional video that they aren’t using the DJI app with it, but it doesn’t say that anywhere. Hope this helps someone else avoid a return! Now he just has to find a way to attach his wireless mic to the unit, and he’s good to go.

The multi-function button layout is intuitive and lets you switch between modes, zoom, and recenter quickly without diving into menus.
