This is an EXCELLENT product. My 83 year old mother is a brittle diabetic with Macular Degeneration. She was always using a hand held magnifying glass, which took away one of her hands which she really needed when taking her blood sugars, handling receipts etc. She was always having to juggle devices , pens and the magnifying glass. By the time she'd juggle she'd forget what she was doing...arghhhhhhhhhhh. This was the perfect answer, it gave her an extra hand! Now she can see and have her hands free to perform tasks. The little light can be directed very easily to provide direct or indirect light as needed. The stand is very sturdy so will not fall over. I'm back to buy her another one to put in her office. Don't hesitate to purchase if you have someone that is sight impaired and could use an extra hand.

BEST PURCHASE EVER. I wanted to get into jewelry making and decided if I wanted to work with seed beads, I needed magnification. And this works fantastic and is hands-free. The light, which isn't on in the photo, is a huge helpmate. And the 10x means my eyes won't get tired even after hours of working with tiny, tiny beads. I can easily see even the holes on 15/0s.I have read in other reviews that it can break, but it seems sturdy to me. Still, I am careful when I adjust the arm to hold it by where it plugs into the base to keep from putting pressure on it. Though I suspect that I will have this magnification lamp a long, long time.I will update in a year to let you know if it still works.

This is an okay magnifier for occasional use. I don't think the construction or design is anything special.

I bought this for looking at small pieces in my collection. It works great for that. It's nice to have a big lens ready rather than picking up and putting down a hand lens. It seems well-built, and sturdy.The lights are pretty bright, but I wish they were a bit brighter, and adjustable brightness. I like that you can adjust where they shine, but it's a limited range, and for those things right in the middle of the lens, where you really need the most light, the light is coming in at a slight raking angle. The lights are a bright white color.If I could have the lights around the ring of the lens, adjustable color and brightness of the lights, and multiple lenses of this size but different strengths, this would be a killer product worth more than twice the price. It's already a very good one.

This magnifier is perfect for fine work and has really come in handy. Yesterday I used it to remove the tiniest of aggravating slivers. The swivel LED light is one of the best features. I can move the light where I want without moving anything else. It is sturdy and solid such that I can adjust the glass easily. Great product!

I purchased this for my 85 year old mother to be able to work puzzles. Her sight is very impaired due to macular degeneration. she loved the lamp! it was perfect for her. BUT, after about 2 weeks the light quit working. She is in a senior retirement facility and unable to leave due to COVID. she will not be able to ship it back. this particular lamp was faulty and defective.

Love this!! I have had this for 18 months. It has proven to be a valuable asset. It allows me additional light and magnification when doing my nails and other close up projects. It is sturdy, easily adjustable, doesn't tip over, and looks nice on my all white vanity. A very good purchase.

I purchased this magnifier on December 17, 2018 and I don’t use it much because I needed one with a light. This one seemed perfect at the time of purchase; however, the light was non-functional right out of the box. I am terribly disappointed because I paid a lot of money for a plain magnifier and should have used it sooner before the return expiration date so that I could have returned it. Do not buy this magnifier is you need to have one with a light because the LEDs on this one “ÐO NOT WORK!” Very unhappy with this purchase.
