My dad just got word that his brain cancer is back and doubled. He loves to tell stories! In an effort to not have regrets, I wanted to record his stories. We have video of some but someone it's nice to record on the sly and not pull out the camera as a reminder that he is dying. This has the added benefit of typing out the stories! Looking forward to sharing them with my kids!

The recorder is pretty to look at, but the quality inside is bad. I had an opportunity to test this item and other items from their product suite. They have somehow managed to have 5 star reviews for all their products and I am astonished! This recorder does not record properly. It works only at times. After some time, the laptops refuse to recognize this device. If you have recorded anything important and have not stored at the time, then God help you.

I was hoping this recorder would decrease the amount of time I spend typing. It didn't. The transcribing software shown in the video never came up in the drive. The recordings were able to be downloaded, but I couldn't find a way to transcribe them. If you are looking to just record without transcribing, this product would probably work fine, but then you might as well use your phone.
