SOOOOO GOOD!
My favorite candy of all time, but is usually only available during the Christmas season is Chocolate covered cherries!!! And I do no care how cheap or expensive they are, I just LOVE THEM!! With this syrup I am able to have the flavor with my Mocha coffee without all the sugar but the flavor is amazing…. I may even try it in my Diet Coke as cherry coke is another favorite but very hard to find the sugar free kind. Thank you Thank you and I will be purchasing this again!!

More of a tart wild cherry, but not in a good way
Update:So, I've given this a few weeks and the flavor has grown on me. When I first reviewed, I was going from real grenadine to this. Now that I've given this some time away from the real stuff and using this on occasion, I have found I kinda like the taste. It is definitely not the normal cherry flavor, I would link it more to a tangy cherry lifesaver. If you get over the flavor difference and don't have expectation of it tasting like you are used to, it's pretty good, especially being 0 calories.Original:I don't know if I like this flavor. I'm trying to find a way to describe it, but grenadine is not it.It has a very strong flavor, almost like a cough drop wild cherry, but in a more overpowering way. It's got more of a tart wild cherry flavor, that I don't think quite goes well with soft drinks.I'm still experimenting with how much to add, but so far, even with the smallest amount, I am not pleased with how the flavor is. Mine came in a plastic bottle also. I would like to add that I love ludents wild cherry throat losengers, and these kinda have that flavor, but also doesn't. The bottle has a different design than on the listing. The syrup is also very thin and flows more like water.

Flavor for drinks
Love the cherry flavor. I use it for soft drinks. Can't tell it is sugar free because of the great taste

Good Alternative If You're Keto-ing
Over the years I had grown very addicted to cherry vanilla coke thanks to places like Fuddruckers and other locations utilizing the Coke touch screen machines with huge flavor combos. And it's a pain in the butt to find the flavor in grocery stores as cans let alone bottles. So over the years I've had to just be satisfied with just using sugar free vanilla syrup and coke zero to get some flavoring. We looked high and low in various markets to find a sugar free cherry but they were either to high of price or non-existent until now. Now mind you, I'm doing Keto, so everything needs to be as sugar free as possible. According to the label this is still about 1 carb a tblsp, but that's not bad at all. The flavor is surprisingly sweet but didn't notice an after taste like others claimed seeing how it has been mixed with other flavors.Think now I just need some club soda and I can make myself an Italian soda.

Better Coke Zero
For a while during COVID, Coke stopped making cherry coke zero sugar. I looked around for ideas and found this. Honestly it's a better Cherry Coke Zero than Coke makes, maybe because I can do as much cherry flavor as I want. I added in a pump and have been enjoying these for a couple of years now.

Taste like Maraschino but has an aftertaste
Life is all about compromises; so having a tasty sugar free zero calorie syrup is going be balanced out by something else.Da Vinci Sugar Free Cherry Syrup has a lingering aftertaste due to the Splenda (sucralose) that is used in it. When people talk about the "cough medicine" flavor that it might have, that's what they're referring to. I don't personally think it taste like cough medicine, but it does taste a bit like a strong artificial cherry. It's much more Maraschino then it is Bing for reference. That being said, it's the closest to the cherry syrup flavor you would get at a convenience store fountain in a regular flavored cherry Coke / cherry Pepsi. Note I said regular (sugar) version and not diet. The cherry flavoring used in diet Coke / diet Pepsi is different and if you're looking for - that - specific cherry flavor, you won't get it with this bottle. I drink a lot of of diet sodas / pops, and I know that particular cherry flavor has a slight taste of "iron" in it and has almost no aftertaste once it's gone from your tongue. I have yet to find any retail product that imitates that flavor, and I think it's proprietary for a reason.Do yourself a favor and mix this sugar free cherry with another sugar free syrup (lime or pineapple) to make your drink taste like a popular ice cream flavor Popsicle.

Adequate substitute for grenadine in cocktails
Using this as a substitute for grenadine, dirty shirleys are my favorite drink but I’m doing keto now and wanted to see if a sugar free version of that drink was possible, and it is!!! I do 1.5 shots of vodka, 1 tablespoon of this syrup, 1 tablespoon of lemon (or lime) juice, and then diet ginger ale. It’s really good and doesn’t taste far off from a regular dirty Shirley with grenadine. I gave 3 stars for the price just because it is spendier than grenadine you’d buy at the store, but it is a tall bottle and because I’m only using 1 tablespoon at a time, it’s really not THAT bad of a price.

Tasty addition to pop/soda at a good price
I love diet cherry Dr Pepper. Due to the pandemic, it is difficult to find in stores. This is the second bottle I’ve purchased of Da Vinci sugar free cherry syrup. A small amount added to a glass of regular diet Dr Pepper taste like the real thing. The flavor is not perfectly natural but it’s close enough. It tastes better than sugar free cherry hard candies. It is also a good value for the money with the size of the bottle. I don’t drink pop/soda every day and it took me about three months to finish my first bottle. I will continue buying this brand and their sugar free cherry flavor syrup.
