Iced tea maker
I make iced tea everyday and this tea maker works great. There are other more expensive ones out there but this one works terrific snd is a value for the money. Using it every day i have to replace it about every three years

It works as advertised.
So far so good it works as advertised. It's a great price for what it does. The glass picture seems very fragile and trying to be very careful with it. Seen a lot of reviews where they picture breaks.

Best tea maker
Love the glass pitcher. Makes the best tea. You can adjust the brew strength.

Great Iced Tea Maker BUT . . .
First, I really like this iced tea maker. In general, it is a significant improvement over my prior Mr. Coffee iced tea maker. Plus, I love the fact it uses a glass pitcher not a plastic pitcher to avoid micro-plastics. However, the pitcher is also why it looses one star. The pitcher is VERY delicate. I cracked it while gently hand drying the pitcher. I did not hit anything; it was not thermal shock. The pitcher cracked while I was holding the handle and turning the pitcher while twisting a flour sack towel inside the pitcher. The torsion on the handle caused the pitcher to crack. The good news is that 1/2 gallon mason jars work as an adequate replacement for the pitcher.

Buy this one if still under $40 UPDATE: But, heed the warning about glass
This appears to be a generic version that many different brands put their label on, and the only difference is that this one is over $20 cheaper at the price it is currently selling (under $40). I'm two brews in and it has worked find to replace my old mr.coffee unit. Wanted to go with a glass pitcher because of the way the old plastic pitcher would stain, and was very difficult to clean out and remove the brown all over. The pitcher is extremely thin glass, and I am questioning how long it will last, but feel good that I spent less for the same unit and will look around for a replacement pitcher that fits. Someone mentioned a Costco pitcher being used, but I haven't looked yet. Plastic top is very thin too and as others have mentioned, warps over time.UPDATE 11-17-2023- Just like all the other interviews, the glass broke after about my 5th brewing. Literally tapped against the fridge shelf and shattered. When I say tap, think the gentle brush of a finger on a baby's cheek, normal containers would never break. I will seek out another pitcher that will work, someone else mentioned they bought one from Ikea that worked. Height should be the only real requirement

Bought Sept 2020 (it's now Feb 2024) and it's perfect.
I know this is going to sound weird but I like to drink iced tea in the morning. I know, I know...:-) I used to buy TeJava. But then I thought there had to be a less expensive way. I saw this unit on sale for $19 and thought what the heck, lets give it a try. This is my routine: I buy organic tea bags, place 4-5 bags in the unit, set the brew sector to the 5th line. After the first brew is completed I add more water and, using the same tea bags, brew once again. This brings the tea to about the half way point in the pitcher. I then fill the pitcher with cold water and place in the fridge. Tea tastes great.I have not broken or cracked the glass pitcher in all this time. I do not fill it full of ice and I am careful when hand washing. The plastic lid has not warped as I hand wash it too.A great little unit that just works and has been for about twice a week for over 3 years.
