Not your cute house inkjet printer, but you shouldn't be intimidated.
Seller's customer service is a solid 5 stars, Yetta is the person you'll be happy to deal with. The support technician was fair, helpful and to the point.3 Months Review (July to October 2024):Now, we need to talk about this printer because this isn't your cute <insert a brand> inkjet printer. You should get this printer as a stepstone from your DIY modified DTF/sublimation "hack"printer, as it'll elevate your sense of software/hardware troubleshooting. When you get this printer:1. Watch ALL videos 1st. Very self explanatory. There are some steps that you should follow before installing the printer drivers2. Install the RIP software as indicated. USB should be plugged at all time with internet connection. VERY IMPORTANT to follow instructions as explained (RIP software is just a translation interface that tell the printer what/mix colors and for what image. nothing fancy)3. Adding Ink is a crucial part, you'll need to be patient with bleeding the dumpers (fancy wording for removing air from the tubes and replace it with ink). The ink, specially white is VERY quick to dry and can be hard to clean up (suddenly finding white ink tube drying from ink is a recurring event). It's water-based ink so stay on top of it. Dumpers are just plasticy and using force to bleed them would cause the blastic to crack and leak. My printer came with a defective Cayen dumper and was glad they send you 2 extra ones, so I didn't have downtime issue.4. MAINTENANCE, MAINTENANCE, MAINTENANCE - Assuming you've made it thus far, I highly recommend to clean printer head in once before starting and once before finishing printing, plus the recommended visual inspection and cleaning on daily basis. Then, once or twice a week you'll need a very thorough cleaning. There are several YT videos with this topic.5. Overall Errors / Ghost paper jams: remember when I said not your cute household printer? this is when your experience with other printer will come handy. These types of printers has no error indication nor visual screen errors, you can get them from a different offered software but that's it. There's a sequence of event that the printer follows and it is interrupted it'll indicate the issue under a generic message. the RIP program doesn't have an error treatment so you'll have to pull a different UI to check. Additionally paper jamming is a physical issue, either a sensor got dusty and need a can of compressed air to be cleared, or in my case I've found the platform under need the print head (connecting the spools to the rod to the printing area) got loose during shipping and needed to be tighten up. I fixed this issue 5 weeks after I received the printer. How did I figured it out? I use a bubble level. Simple.OVERALL:I expected a challenge and got one. This is not your weekend side gig, it needs maintenance on daily basis. But the results are very satisfying.I'll update this review if I remember something I've missed.

Lots of initial headaches, but support got me thru the mess
When I first received this product, it was very confusing to get set up. It took me days to get it just right. I had to reach out to support to help me get the software downloaded correctly. From there is was a nightmare, I am not going to lie. Over the next few weeks, I had to contact support MULT times for help for SO many diff reasons. Too many to list. Some days it would work "decent" and other days, not at all. It was a MESS. Conversations thru the whatsapp was helpful and a nightmare all at the same time, because of the time difference they always responded back to me late at night, and it was taking up ALL of my night to get answers from them. This went on for weeks. They had to troubleshoot my product mult times, resulting in a LOT of wasted ink. They kindly sent me another box of ink to replace all that was lost. Ultimately, we agreed upon me keeping this product "as is" and I can reach out to support when I need it. Am I 100% satisfied with this order for what I paid? No. But I just keep messing with it, and adjusting things with it, and hope for the best when I try to print a project from it. I will also say, that anything you want printed with WHITE, never seems to be WHITE...its very faint and dull. I hate that, because it has ruined alot of projects because of that problem alone. Also, it prints MUCH MUCH Slower than I anticipated, and that is not great for business, when you need to print out a big order, and its taking approx 15 mins to print one image. That is a major downer in my opinion. Overall, I am thankful for support to help out when needed. I just wish they could help you immediately and during daytime hours, not at 10pm at night where I live. I am not sure I would trust buying this machine again, however, at least support and the company were always there to help when needed. I just hope and pray this machine will last a long time for what I paid for it, because for all the issues I have had with it, it makes me REALLY nervous, and I am so scared the lifespan on this printer will be short-lived. I PRAY thats not the case, because that would be terrible for my business, and would REALLY back me up, having to buy ANOTHER printer and start this headache all over again. So I PRAY this machine will live for a long time, or I am not sure what I will do. This was a SPENDY purchase for me, so I am hoping for the best!
