Great starter set
Stargazing in the city is always a challenge, and while this doesn't eliminate light pollution by any means (not that it's advertised as being able to do so anyhow), it does add a good bit of contrast and makes objects a little bit easier to see. It's not too much of a difference, but honestly I probably just need to venture a little bit further outside of the city to get the best effect.

Above Average Economy Filter
Modern city lights demand a good quality UHC filter for viewing the sky while filtering light pollution. This filter appears to be identical in every way that I could tell to the FIBONAX filter I also tested, and that makes it a step or two better than the cheap economy UHC filters that are pretty common. The FIBONAX filter product specs actually provide a spectrum graph showing which wavelengths they filter, so between the two I would point you to that product instead. However, visually I could see no difference and suspect this one is spectrally identical. Either way, don’t handicap your good eyepieces by slipping a cheap filter between them and the heavens — go with the FIBONAX or this one for a better quality view.

Thin
Overall fit and finish of these filters is excellent. They are metal and the threads are smooth. The filters are easily stacked to achieve the level of darkening desired. The filters come stacked in a single case with material to hold them in place. They are fairly thin, so be careful when handling because they are slippery.

Excellent filter!
These circular UV filters are probably the first filter you should buy when outfitting your telescope. I have mine primarily dedicated to a Tele Vue 12mm Nagler eyepiece and it screwed in smoothly. It stacks with my other filters just fine. The only thing that would make this a better product is if it were a bit thinner -especially for me because I stack my filters. The case is a full size filter container so I have to store these in another pocket of my kit and away from the other filters. I think the price is great for a circular polarizer. The coating is consistent and I see no flaws in either the lens or aluminum housing. I'm more than happy with mine and I recommend it.

Useful
Great little filter set. Sometimes your astronomical target is a little too bright. Such as the moon. These filters can help in such situations. These will also pair well with my solar wedge which makes viewing the sun possible but by itself is uncomfortably bright to the eye. The inclusion of four filters with different densities is great.
