Pump fit good, works good. Original was made in Italy and lasted 22 years. The rotor shaft snapped due to water ingress and rusting over time. I could have tigged it back together and turned it in the lathe to refinish it, except the seals were worn and the water would still leak in. Amazing little motor to run in water environment. Thanks to the people out there that still make parts for us to fix things with. :)

Considering how the original pump used a plastic bearing that appears designed to fail, "ultra durable" sounds great to me. This one fits perfectly and is working great upon initial install.

This is the second pump I’ve purchased. The previous one lasted about two years, but I believe it got ruined due to our mistake. We left a pencil in our clothes, and it somehow made its way to the blade, popping it out of place. No worries, though, as I was able to order a replacement and got my washer working again in no time. I am pleased with my purchase and recommend this pump.

Updated Review:So it is time to update this review. First about me: My wife and I have 4 kids with the youngest in diapers (we also use cloth diapers). So that being said, our washer and dryer are well used (at least one load a day if not more). We have a Kenmore Elite HE3t that we bought new from Sears in 2002. The only thing that has really gone wrong has been this pump. The original one lasted until November 2018. So that is when I bought my first replacement pump, this one right here that I am reviewing. When I bought it, it had a LIFETIME guarantee. Yes, a Lifetime guarantee on it. What can be better than a relatively inexpensive part (more than they are now) and a lifetime guarantee? I thought sold. Even if it breaks in a few years I can get a new one for free.Well, it didn't make it a few years. It didn't even make a it a year. It broke in October of 2019, less than 11 months from when I installed it. But remember, it had a lifetime guarantee. So I contacted the manufacturer and they asked for some pictures and then had me order another one from Amazon. They then credited me through Amazon for the replacement. I thought that was pretty nice and that maybe I got a bad part since it broke in less than 11 months. So where did it break? It broke on the impeller. It cracked on the hub and came apart from the back piece. The motor also had water in it as I am assuming that is due to the seal failing when the impeller and hub came apart. So I installed the replacement pump and it worked great. They were also still advertising the LIFETIME guarantee.Fast forward 11 months with the replacement pump and BAM. It breaks again. Take it out, same place and same problem. I go to the Amazon and see that they have now changed their warranty. It is now a 6 month guarantee. I guess that goes to show you that they don't hold up. You will not get a lifetime, and my experience is that you will not even get one year out of it. I have had two fail in less than a year. They are not durable and if you use your washing machine regularly, you will be replacing this pump often as well. I guess the good news is that they also reduced the cost on the pump. So now you pay less, but get less guarantee and will still have to replace it often. But now you are left to buy the replacement. Buy at your own risk, but just don't expect it to last long and be ready to replace it. If you use your washer a lot, have one on hand as a backup.Previous Review:This was a perfect fit for my front loading Kenmore washer. I have had the set for 17 years and this was the first "major" problem. Looked up the part, found it on Amazon for much cheaper the manufacturer, ordered and got it right away. It was easy to install and works great. It has been working great for 8 months. We have 4 kids and my wife is doing multiple loads a day. So it is pretty durable. Hopefully I didn't just jinx it. :)

I have bought several of these over the years. I have had the same washer now for 20-ish years and my teenage kids haven’t been the best at cleaning out their pockets. The impeller is plastic but bobby pins would probably tear up any motor. a more expensive one might last a little longer but i have gotten quick at changing this little motor. I can have it replaced and back running in 30minutes. It is very simple to replace only issue is when it typically goes out the washer drum has water in it. Make sure you have a shop vac handy. SUD is the typical code I get on my washing machine when the pump has failed. I probably get a year and half to two years out of one of these and we do a LOT of laundry in our house. I typically keep one on the shelf so when one goes out I can fix it then and there so we can complete the laundry.

I only just installed it because of the F02 error from the last pump. This pump is a perfect fit, comes with 2 extra O-rings, and operates quietly. The Replacement pump sells for $150 from retail stores so this is a great buy. For the 20 minutes it has run so far, it has cleared the F02 error and I am very happy with it. I will come back and update should it ever stop working. Assume if there is no update that it is still being used daily (2 adults, 4 kids, washable diapers and all our clothes on top of that daily use).4/10/2023 update. Used once every day or more and still working just as quiet as when installed.

Purchased this item in 2020 for a Whirlpool Duet washer. Lasted 3 years and the impellor broke. I ordered another one from Blue Star. To take advantage of the lifetime warranty I contacted the seller through Amazon. They requested the order number for the replacement part ordered. Three day later Blue Star refunded the the cost of the new drain pump. Can't go wrong ordering a part from Blue Star with lifetime warranty. They stand behind their policy.

Great unit for the price. This is a replacement part, not an OEM unit. This does not diminish the quality. In fact, this unit, while a slightly different design (three blades vs four, heat dissipation, no cover for electronic plug), it does fit snugly and appears to have a better extraction rate than the original unit. It is slightly louder although had less vibration than the OEM. It is working well. No F2 codes and was able to install in less than 10 minutes. Blue Stars sent out e-mails regarding shipping and customer service inquiries. Great extra touch from them. At this time, would buy again. Hoping I don't have to for another 10 years.

My Maytag front load washer pump was defective. Dealers wanted $321. For a new pump. This pump worked awesome for $30. Shipped to my house!

I needed this for our Maytag washer as we were getting the F02 or SUD error and at the end of it, it wasn't draining. This washer has seen more washing than you can imagine and nearly 17 years old now. I had a minor drip of water on first install, so I removed the pump and added some vaseline around the o-ring, along with 2 other screws seeing there were 2 open holes from what the factory had used. All is good and the washer has seen likely 20 loads of washing with no issues. Unbelievable price compared to a new one through a local parts store. Super cheap and shipped to my door......thanks!!!

Works perfect I was quoted $140 for this same aftermarket part at a local parts repair shop and this one was only $20 works great so far

Product arrived in bubble package with box slightly crushed - i worried something would not work. It looked ok when taken out of box so i used it. Very easy to install, machine worked right away and is still working. we will see how it works in the long run

Product was easy to install and worked ok until recently. It’s been 20 months and the impeller has broken off. I sent a message to the seller regarding the warranty but have not heard back from them or received anything.
