Performance as expected
Short review: the card behavior is as expected. There are multiple management software, maybe due LSI > AVAGO > Broadcom acquisitions.I've install a small fan (30-40 CFM) in front of the chip heater and the temperature decreased from 70 to 47 dregress Celsius. Yes, the temperature decreased with 23 degrees.I am using the card with HGST 12TB He - the performance is excellent (12Gbps connections). These particulary drives temperatures are around 30 degrees Celsius, with no AC - only fans. The card is able to put the drives in power save mode. So, my expectations were more than fulfilled.I choose this board against 9341 due RAID 6 feature and 1GB memory.
