Shakespeare Micro Spinning Rod

Good rod, bought for my son. A bit too soft on a tip for my preferences, but never had ultra light before. Overall, good quality, suoer light, my son handles it with ease.

Great little spinning rod (can be used for drop shotting) Very well made , nice real cork handle, good reel fittings, cast very well, was a bit dubious about the S/S rings but they work fine with a small fixed spool and 8lb braid. Already had a small pike on this and the feel was great. This is a must have rod for the lure fisherman at silly money.

Good rod for the river, however tip snapped in two places when I gently shook it to try and get unsnagged with 4lb line on.To be clear I didn't try and pull it out the snag and would have pulled the line instead, just gave it a shake and it broke.

Good one piece ultralight for crappie. Recieved two, but tip was broken off one rod, they could have just sent the good rod but they sent the damaged one also. Bought the 5'6 ultralight also, in product description on that one clearly states 1 piece, it is not. Dont like two piece rods unless they over 9 feet. Now have to find a ultralight one piece rod, but will probably just go to cabellas for that.

This rod always gets delivered soon and is the lightest rod I’ve ever used granted it’s only 4’6” but I like that it’s a one piece and you feel even the smallest nibbles and you can throw it all day with no fatigue and I love to pair it with the Zebco micro trigger spinNow mind you it’s a small rod made for crappie and bream and other smaller fish but I catch 1-4 pound bass on the daily with it and even bagged the pictured 8.5 pound monster with this rod and only using 4 pound test which I recommend as the highest you need to useAs long as that drag is set you’re goodNote: it will snap with enough pressure that’s to be expected, I snapped my last one when I got hung and frustrated tugged too hard out of anger and snapped it and then I was really mad but all in all my absolute favorite of my light tackle possibly the one I would use in a survival situation

Best value. Super lightweight. Come in 2 pieces so easily to fold and storage .Really strong yet flexible rod. Highly recommended.It’s comparable to $100+ rod.
