This item was purchased for a hamster and was really easy to assemble. There is a large enclosed area for the animal to be undisturbed. I was able to add a wheel which was purchased seperately.

Cage was easy to build. It is really beautiful and fits nicely as part of the furnishing. However the cage is fodder to the hamster and chewed her way out of the vents despite all the toys and anti-boredom crafts she had. Returned from work to find her out with my curtain all chewed up. Will not recommend this.

Your hamster will chew their way straight through this! My little one is absolutely devastated after our hamster escaped out of this and subsequently we have found her (not alive)! I feel so guilty that if we had her in a different cage this would never of happened!At first we thought it was a good enclosure because of the good size and variety of hides and it looked good etc....our hamster had seemed quite happy in it but unfortunately any small rodents will chew and this cage is just not safe for them!AVOID

Unfortunately, I made the mistake of purchasing this for my syrian ham, a little too small but that’s my own fault for not checking the sizing. The problem however lies in the fact that putting a rodent in a wooden cage is never a good plan as I’ve learnt. They’ll chew their way out.. it’s wood.. rodents chew. Product is fine but I feel miss marketed. Please don’t make the mistake of buying this cage. Your little friend will chew their way out and escape. ☹️

Defo buy it’s a perfect size for 1 hamster and he loves it so good quite easy to build 👍

Love this cage. I was worried that the quality wouldn't be great and that it would be a nightmare to put together. Not so! Took me and my daughter half an hour to put together and the quality is spot on. All the parts were there and screw holes were aligned etc. The lid can be locked in open position, which is very handy when cleaning. (I scoop out the majority then vacuum the rest and disinfect) lots of room for a dwarf but maybe a tad too small for Syrian hamster. On sale on their website atm so even better! I have no regrets buying this.

Incredible encloser for the price you pay when put together looks very expensive its snug an spacious an comes with everything it need honestly shocked at the quality of this for the price my hammy loves her new home ✊🏻🐹

Lasted less than a week before the hamster chewed it's way through the side. Not suitable for hamsters at all,don't waste your money.
