Tap the "+" icon, and select "Add via Bluetooth." Press the device button when scanning starts. Tap the device once it appears and choose it as a gateway to view its status in Shelly Smart Control.

What is the range of Shelly BLU motion sensor?

Shelly BLU Motion can catch motion up to 9 meters away and cover up to a 120 degrees angle.

Does Shelly BLU Motion need a gateway?

Yes, to use this device with the Shelly Smart Control app, a gateway is necessary. Compatible gateways are Shelly BLU Gateway, or any Shelly Plus, Pro or Gen3 device (excluding sensors). Distance must be within 10 meters max.

Shelly BLU Motion is unresponsive after a firmware update?

Remove ("Forget") Shelly BLU Motion from Bluetooth settings. Open Shelly BLE Debug App, insert the battery, and select the device. Start a slow OTA update. If it doesn’t appear, press the button briefly before reinserting the battery.
