I was on a shoot connected to the inside of a windshield inside a car with my GoPro which overheated so I switched to my iPhone 12 Pro Max and this performed great with my phone. I was able to finish off the shoot and still had footage from both my GoPro and my iPhone because this was versatile enough to accommodate either device with the included hardware. It performed equally as well with both . My favorite part of this is the red indicator that lets you know if you need to add more suction. Something that has saved my gear in the past with other suction cups like this. It did look odd being on such a smaller suction cup but worked great with my lighter gear. Would reccomend this for anyone who is needing to use an action camera or there phone to get great shots from either inside or outside of a vehicle.

Works just fine, just so long as you pay attention to the weight limit and use common sense as to what surface you put it on. Also read the instructions - you have to press the button down over and over until a line disappears, indicating there's enough suction. If you see that button creep outwards, then you're losing suction, so be sure to monitor this with your camera. It flips open easily, by pinching a tab on the side, which is scary that your camera can come crashing down with a flick, so always supervise. Also the noise when you release suction can be loud.The arm cam be stronger as it tends to sag a bit if the camera is sideways or stresses the joints and you'll have to adjust quite often if the arm is sideways.

I’ve got many ways of supporting cameras over the years, but this is the most unique.I was quite impressed with the Functionality of this suction cup holder, As there are a lot of ways, you could attach a camera, a phone, or perhaps even a small mirror camera.The suction cup itself is surprisingly large, but it holds pretty securely to smooth glass and polished or painted metal. The included accessories allow you to hold an action camera or a phone, or attach a camera with a standard quarter inch mount.Feels to me like the build quality is solid, as I said, the size is a little bigger than you were expect… But when you want something holding your equipment, bigger is probably better.I wouldn’t trust my DSLR with a fast lens on it, but for Recording behind the scenes or attaching an action camera to the windshield or body of a car, I think it’s pretty amazing.

First, I would like to say that having purchased Neewer products before, I had no doubt about its construction and quality. I have tried other dash and windshield mounts before, but they have always come up short. Recently, I had purchased a Garmin dash pad with a flat round area in the center. I had no issue attaching this mount to this dash pad thus allow me more flexibility in placing it on the dash or removing it. I am not sure if I will be using this suction mount on my windshield however as California is very strict in its placement. I am planning to only use this with an action cam so I think I will have more options than using heavier cameras. Keep in mind that this is not your typical all plastic mount but one using more durable metal components where needed.
