Impossible to wear, returning!
Beware...This looks great in the photo, but it does not fit. The entire costume attaches with Velcro dots which were all wrong. Also, the crutch area is totally exposed. I needed to wear this for my son's birthday, but it's being returned. Very disappointed.

I absolutely loved this costume
I absolutely loved this costume. It was a complete hit at the Halloween party. I was a little concerned with the velcro straps coming off, but for the most part they stayed put. I had to adjust the straps from time to time, but no different from any other costume I have worn in the past. There are always going to be some corks and whatnot. You will need someone to help you put the chest/back part on, but a minor issue. Once again, this was a complete hit at the party. For those who are concerned with the fit: I am 6' and weigh 195 pounds. The costume was snug, but would def be more fitted for someone a bit smaller. I would def recommend this costume to everyone. Make sure you buy a sword to complete the costume. Oh, I didn't use the helmet so I am not sure how it functions.

Thin and falls apart
Overall, the costume was a huge hit at the parties I attended. But, I spent a long time modifying it so it wouldn't fall apart on me. The costume is very thin and uses velcro to hold each piece together. Normal moving around caused the velcro to come unfastened. So, I went to the hardware store and bought snaps (like the ones used to button a pair of pants). Not only did these hold the costume together well, but they were shinny and looked great.Another modification I made was to cut slits into the face mask. This made it breathable. And it actually looked better this way.Lastly, the front of the costume is pretty exposed. So, you'll want to wear some shorts over the thing undergarment. The undergarment was pretty cheap anyway so I ended up wearing another body suit instead. My rating is mixed. I give it 5 stars for the end result and 1 star for the mechanics which averages out to a 3. I would recommend it if you don't mind doing a couple of hours of modifications after you buy it. I swear that everyone at the party was a magnet to my pseudo-steel suit!

Absolute trash, don’t waste your money
This suit is nearly paper thin plastic, not “sturdy pvc” as described. It’s held together with poorly placed velcro stickers and fits terribly across the board; some parts are obnoxiously large while others are ludicrously small, the chest piece barely comes to my belly button but is easily twice as wide as necessary. For the price I’m incredibly disappointed. I wouldn’t spend $20 on this poorly made costume, nonetheless the $90+ they are selling it for. Returned immediately

A great base, expect to do small modifications, people loved it
I think this is a great base knight costume but if you plan to wear it for longer than 30 mins expect to modify it. I found after the 1st try of fitting it that the small Velcro pieces that come with it will not work very well. I bought a roll of Velcro to help secure it better but the Velcro still did not hold well when moving around. To solve the movement issues i came up with a few solutions, i cut the solid piece section of the shoulders into 2 pieces then used a hole punch and small tye wraps to give more flexibility. I also did this for the upper shoulder pieces and this allowed me to have more range of movement in my arms/shoulders.Another issue i had was the large empty gap between the breast plate and the thigh armor. I went to Hobby Lobby and bought leather/goat skin piece. I used the hole punch and tye wraps and attached it and it gave a lot better look.As far as painting this blue, it was really easy. You want to use a model spray paint and i would recommend you use translucent color. I used translucent blue so that you can still see the silver shine and it still looks like a metalish armor.

Wore out all night dancing, drinking and partying, no problems with it, huge hit!
I read all the reviews, and fully expected to need to beef up the velcro closures. What I can tell you is that the velcro holds very well, though the nature of moving around in this suit will have possibly one or two areas disconnect over the course of an evening. My husband and I went to a street costume party this past Friday, we walked both to and from the party, as it's only around a 30 minute walk, and then we were dancing at the street party, all night. Had a few beers, and still made it home with the suit intact. Here's where there were a couple of concerns... my husband has size 14 feet, so as expected, the foot portion of the suit was very difficult to get on over his shoes, and at one point, one of the toes popped off, but that was easily remedied by using the existing velcro to put it back together. Also, my husband wore pants with pockets underneath the suit, so that he could carry his wallet and phone. The panels that go over your hips, were prone to coming undone when you put your hands in this area. That is not unexpected, due to the way it attaches, and not a big deal. The shoulder attachments on the suit, I think would be better done the same way the side panels are, so that it could be a little bit adjustable. As it was, attaching the suit the way the velcro strips suggest, make the chest piece of the suit a little high for my husband's height, he's 6'2". We dropped the shoulder a little bit and did attach that part to the back panel with duct tape, just to hold it lower. It would be really great if the designer would consider using straps there to attach, just to make it adjustable. Also, the arm and elbow pieces, the elastic was too large, he likely could have worn a sweater under his armour to keep these from slipping, I shortened the elastic on them instead with a quick seam.Other than that, this is a hit, and it's totally possible to drink without taking the helmet off as was suggested in another post. We just sat the visor in a way that had it a little more open, and he would push the face shield part up. His only complaint was that it was hard to hear in it, otherwise the helmet stayed on all night. He was a definite hit at the costume party! For durability, we walked more than 30k steps according to my pedometer. Held up fine. We'll be using this one for years to come.

Expected more
Just didn't sit right, the feet were not molder right, felt like a carboard outfit. The coloring was nice just too awkward.

Total crap and no returns
What a waste of money. The plastic is thin, the velcro tabs to hold everything together are simply sticky backed so the peel off the plastic, and even if they were more secure they do almost nothing to hold this together. Straps broke off as I was trying mount certain parts and the helmet...! Oh my what a mess the helmet is, in 4 separate pieces, each part held onto the next with the same garbage velcro circles. Useless, might as well have burned 230 bucks and saved myself the hassle.

Very good service and an impressive costume
Pretty much the only full costume on the market but very impressive and not a bad price considering the level of detail. I'll be using it as a prop/costume in a play. As other reviewers have said, the armour takes forever to put on or take off and Velcro pads aren't the best but they are adequate and it's easy to strengthen the joins how you want (I'm using rivets). There was a piece missing when the costume arrived but the supplier was very helpful and shipped me a replacement quickly. Very good service.

More like knight in flimsy plastic
Two things that would make this costume so much better. One is to use a hard plastic so that it would be more durable and not the same plastic they use for drink lids at Starbucks. Second is the straps for the legs and arms are way too loose. Who is this costume suppose to fit? Duane Johnson? I am 5'11 and 180 lbs (about as average as you can get) and I had to take the elastic straps in a whole inch before they would stay in place. I would not recommend buying this costume. Build yourself some foam armor instead.
