We purchased this binding to be used on our poultry farm. The quality of the material used is excellent. It creates a strong hold that is not easily broken.

Used for boat cover support. Doesn't fray when cut.

This rope is smooth and feels very durable. The material also looks clean, not dirty or oily. It is great to use around the house if you have garden, to tie or create support for plants instead of using metal sticks. After using it, I feel this rope is great for tying large and heavy boxes or large bundles. The rope are easy to tie, not slippery and can easily undo the knot. With the 1000 feet length, it will last a while for home uses, plenty of uses. This rope is useful and durable.

The Storage Standard Heavy Duty Woven Cord Strapping Flat Rope - 1000ft x ½’’ is a good investment in my opinion. I'll tell you why I think so.Back about 60 years ago, my dad acquired a very similar sized roll of a very similar product. . I was around 10 at the time. We used it for EVERTHING. When I grew up and left home, the spool was still at at least 50% of its original size. I think there was still some left when Dad retired. The spool was large enough to deserve a dedicated space in Dad's workshop, so nobody ever had to search for it. I will make the same assignment for my new spool/box The point is.. buy 1000 ft. and have it around when you need it. I can think of 100 uses off the top of my head.Also, consider the 1800 lb. breaking strength. That's an honest five times the rating of the plastic banding that came with my pallet strapping kit. That product has broken a couple of times at inopportune moments. Also, that strapping came on an open spool with no box/dispenser and is a real challenge to handle without a mess. I recommend against buying open spools of banding without some sort of dispenser (like the box with this product), based on personal experience.This woven polyester banding is more supple than other types of banding, including other synthetics. That makes it easy to tie knots in for general applications like tying up bundles or supporting vegetation. It's not just for use with banding tools, at least not in our household.So, if you're a business, this is a great product. Again. compare the strength to other products before deciding. If you're someone like me who's considering an all-around cord/rope/banding product. I think this is a good choice.

Nice strong strapping. The cardboard pull box design makes using and storing the roll of strapping as needed a breeze. Many years ago I had picked up several left over pieces of mule tape to use as truck cargo tie downs and have never used rope since. While not quite as strong or as wide as some mule tape it still has plenty strength for most anything from pallet strapping, truck tie down cord, securing a tarp, or just about anything else you can think of. It is also much stronger than most common round rope available. You can cut it with a knife and melt the end just a bit to help with unraveling or utilize a hot knife. The strapping is just a little stiffer, most likely more to do with being new, than a typical mule tape although that is not its original purpose anyway. This will be very handy for numerous different uses for years to come. It is also reusable so this one roll will be most likely more than I alone will ever need.

The Heavy Duty Woven Cord Strapping Flat Rope - 1000ft is a great strapping/rope to have in the garage. It is a very strong strapping that has so many uses. We are often looking for small pieces of strap to use and have always saved the cloth, shoe string like handles on bags from clothing stores for this purpose. This strapping is so much stronger and is perfect to use in any situation where we need this type of rope. I am so pleased to have found and ordered this. This is an excellent rope that works extremely well and I would recommend it to others.

I'm using this to bundle up huge loads of broken down cardboard, and sealing it with a heat sealer to melt it together. It ends up being a lot of weight and gets subject to a lot of abuse, being thrown around, into the bed of my truck, and gets a lot of friction on the webbing by a lot of rough edges. Yet I've never had this stuff break or had any issues with it at all. It's just really great strapping that can hold a LOT, and for the pricepoint it's offered and how much you get, it's an incredible value.

This works very well with a banding tool and clips. If you would like the tightest possible hold, there are very inexpensive banding tools with matching 1/2" clips available on Amazon. It is simple and easy to use that way. It is also usable as just an incredibly strong rope or twine,and I find myself doing that a lot. This is a huge supply of banding tape for home use, and will last you many years. I do recommend keeping the banding tape in the box, which is designed to dispense it as needed, and will avoid you ending ending up with an insane rats nest of banding before you use it all up. Great product, strong, works well, and I can recommend it wholeheartedly.
