I got this to run across the top of my fence to make it less scalable to my dogs and other animals. It is a wonderfully thick quality cable that has countless uses! It is very nice to work with and quite modern looking. It is easy to cut and with grommets/clasps it secures very nicely. So far it has held up to my rambunctious dogs and our crazy weather.

I got this steal cable for multiple uses around the yard, like reenforcing the fence and putting up string lights. This steal cable is extremely durable and you wont have to ever worry about it braking. its is coated with a high quality finish that so far has held up to both the extreme heat of Texas and rain for 4 months now without any oxidation issues. The cutting tool it comes with is as good as anything you may purchase from Lowes (generally $20-$30 for the tool alone) and shows no sign of going dull after more than a few uses. In short, its a great product to have in your shed/garage and is very affordable for the quality you get.

I wasn't sure if I'd like the black cable but I like it better than the silver. Black has a tendency to blend in instead of light colors that stand out. This is a nice cable strand looks quality built. Not too hard to install if you have the right connectors. Looks really clean compared to the old balusters. Functions well once you get the strands tight. Kind of seems expensive but there is no maintenance after you install it which is very nice.

Actual diameter of cable was 0.117", but seems to work fine with fittings for nominal 0.125".
