ULTRALOQ UL3 BT 2nd Gen Smart Lock + WiFi Bridge 5-in-1 Keyless Entry Electronic Door Handle, Black

we have a small office of 4 staff. We were looking for an efficient system that we could operate without keys, give temporary access and also record comings and goings. A fancy key fob system was really expensive and needed a separate It unit connected to a server.I found the Ultraloq UL3 BT on Amazon and could not be happier with it. It was easy to install (just follow the instructions) on a retrofit door (I would not be sure about a completely new install where you would need to drill holes, but that would be true of installing any lock). We had a door with an existing lock, so the holes pre-cut and it was as simple as remove the old one and install the new one.We bought and installed two UL3 locks, one n the front door and one on our document storage room. The finger print scanner does not work first time every time, but the same happens on my phone. At times it might take two or three attempts.We have not had staff leave yet, but it will be very easy to remove their access rather than have to replace locks every time. We can also grant temporary access, as we have to contractors to work on weekends.I am really happy with this lock and would have no issues with buying it again when there is a need on another door.

Great lock. I needed a lock that offered a convenient means of entry (no need to carry a key) but was not too industrial looking. This fitted the use case perfectly. Could tell it was a good quality product as soon as I opened the box. The weight and finish of the handles and metal casing suggest durability and security and the front panel is well designed. Easy to install and set up. Fingerprint recognition rates and speed are very good, especially if you register a finger 2 or 3 times in a slightly different position on the sensor. Has really impressed anyone that has seen in so far. I would definitely purchase another of these if I need amother lock for a similar purpose

I don't often write reviews but I feel so annoyed that I wasted money on this product that I had to write a review. Put simply it doesn't work!The lock is straightforward enough to install but requires lots of holes to be drilled, potentially wrecking the door if you decide to remove it. The app seemed easy enough to install but that was where the fun began.The app software runs incredibly slowly or not at all with frequent timeouts. We have a fast broadband connection so that cannot be the cause. Even standing next to the lock doesn't seem to help. Changing settings seems almost impossible.Once the fingerprints are added you should be good to go but of the 4 people added so far, 2 of us can't get the the lock to release at all and the third (me) is incredibly hit and miss.If I could get a refund I would

suffering from nerve damage locks and doors pose me a lot of problems - the handle on this door is very soft and easy to use - other reviews suggest the handle can be changed to lift upwards. I am using this on an outside door and for security purposes i have paired it with a kwickset motorised deadbolt. One code entry ( on kwickset ) and one fingerprint and I am inside my front door. On a uk door this effectively replaces a yale latch and a deadbolt. I also have mortice locks for if I go out. This lock is good but would not be secure as the only lock on the outside door of a family home. I have only given 4 stars as not sure how it will last or how battery function will perform.

We bought this lock 4 years ago, during which time it’s worked flawlessly. Recently it developed a fault and we reached out to the seller for help. They couldn’t have been more helpful or accommodating. Despite the age of the unit they sent new parts free of charge or even the international shipping costs, and provided thorough instructions to fix the problem, checking throughout the process that everything was ok. The lock is now as good as new and we are thrilled with such a professional and generous customer experience. We would wholeheartedly recommend both the product and the company.

Even though I’ve given these a three-star, they’re actually almost a five. Yeah, the finger print scanner can be temperamental to set up, but it does work well, most of the time.The big issue is the battery life. We’ve only had these operating since September (now November), in a building open not even two days a week on average, and we’re about to put in our third set of batteries. I'd imagine for those buildings/doors where the door is used more often you'd be changing batteries every few weeks!

The media could not be loaded.  I needed a lock solution for my office which blocks casual access to unauthorised people without the faff of having to use/remember keys or fobs. This is perfect. It's sleek and doesn't look obtrusive, and works perfectly. High quality finish on the components and the mechanism has a reassuringly solid feel when in use. I particularly like the three-way access design - fingerprint, user code and master key. Having a user log that shows activations history is an added bonus too. It's a well-thought out solution and I genuinely believe that you get what you pay for with these sorts of things, so suffice to say that I will gladly buy another of these locks when I need the same faff-free restricted access for another door. Highly recommended.

Bought for a small office 8+. Easily installed and very easy to set up. The available phone App is very useful too.Battery life is more than adequate and whilst the reader does not always read the fingerprint first time, neither does my £1000 smart phone.The lock developed a fault after 6-7 months and I really cannot commend Ultraloq enough for their response, as 2 days after contacting them I had a replacement delivered. I wish more companies would stand over their product the way these guys have.All in all this is a great value for money product backed up by great customer service.

La chapa Ultraloq cumple en sobremanera lo que anuncia, los materiales son de primera calidad, la instalación es muy sencilla, la configuración es rapida si lees las instrucciones primero pero sobre todo el servicio al cliente es inmejorable, perdi las llaves 🔑 y solicite un reemplazo, me comentaron que las cerraduras son únicas por lo que no tienen llaves extra pero se ofrecieron a mandarme sin costo el tambor completo de la apertura manual, siempre estuvieron atentos a todas mis preguntas considero muy importante que no dejan solo al cliente nunca, lo recomiendo 100% y lo volveria a comprar.Tambien compre el accesorio para cubrir los agujeros de mis chapas anteriores así como el "bridge" para poder conectarlo a mi WiFi y poder acceder al equipo desde cualquier lugar, esuna gran opcion.

This lock is everything I hoped it would be! The fingerprint reader has been reliable, and the code entry is easy and secure. I really like the "anti-peep" feature to obscure the pin entry. My wife's fingerprint never registers on any fingerprint reader for some reason (her phone, for instance), and this lock is no different, so she just uses a pin instead.The Android app is well designed and easy to use as well. I've used it successfully from a little over 30 feet away, so the Bluetooth range is very good. I primarily use the app for putting the lock in passage mode if I know we're getting multiple guests who know to not knock and just come in (like for a dinner party). I really like that unless I put the lock in passage mode, it's always locked... no more forgetting to lock the door at night! The only thing that I haven't been able to get to work properly is the shake to unlock feature of the Android app. It's not a big deal... I find it more of a hassle to take my phone out of my pocket and shake it than to just put my finger on the reader anyway. None of our family has an iPhone, so I haven't tested the app on that platform.Installation was very easy. I didn't use the extra security bracket that came with it because I didn't want to hassle with drilling another hole, but it seemed like it would be easy to implement if that's important to you, and it's nice that it comes as an option for install. I replaced a door knob that was old and beginning to not work properly. I like the lever better than a knob, and this thing looks great on our door!I would definitely recommend this lock to anyone considering a smart lock option. I have a number of smart devices around the house - Amazon Echos, Ring doorbell, a SmartThings hub, and a number of smart switches and plugs. I considered getting a lock that had Z-Wave or Zigbee capabilities so I could use it with my SmartThings hub, but opted for this one due to its multiple entry options. I haven't been disappointed with that decision!UPDATE 5/20/2020: I have been using this lock for a little over a year now, and still love it. I have replaced the batteries once. It still looks brand new and functions perfectly. The app has improved a bit since I first installed it (adding the ability to name the users is the main improvement I see, which is really helpful). I've used the wireless bridge to remotely unlock the door for a friend who was checking in on the house for me. I added a passcode to allow my brother-in-law to enter the house when he visited from out of town and arrived late at night. I regularly put the lock in passage mode when we have a party so guests can just come on in. We primarily use the fingerprint feature for entrance, though my wife prefers the passcode since she has faint fingerprints and has always had trouble (she can't unlock her phone with fingerprint either). I would definitely buy this lock again if I have another door I want to put an electronic lock on!

Non è stato semplicissimo installarla perché andavo a sostituire una serratura esistente, sicuramente in una nuova porta sarebbe stato più semplice, comunque il prodotto si presenta molto bene esteticamente e anche in termini di robustezza è davvero ben fatta, si può utilizzare l'impronta digitale, il codice o lo smartphone con l'app che è utile anche nella configurazione. Molto utile trovo la funzione per lasciare la maniglia esterna sbloccata, visto che l'ho installata sulla porta che da verso il giardino.

It's was a great product. First couple of months it was smooth. But 3 months of use and it doesn't open / unlock in first attempt. You need to try a few times over and then it opens.This issue was fixed and now the lock runs smoothly since 1 year. I changed my rating from 1 to 5
