If you are new to aquarium keeping I can recommend cycling your tank using this rather than fish
I have a 30 litre aquarium and am totally new to keeping fish. Having tried twice both totally unsuccessfully to cycle my tank with fish, having followed all the guidelines, I discovered you can do the cycling with ammonia ( something the fish suppliers failed to mention when I was struggling with my set up! But we're quite happy to sell me fish). I downloaded the ammonia cycling information from the code supplied with the ammonia solution. It is very informative and explains the cycling from ammonia to nitrites and nitrates very well and once completed you can then introduce your fish. The literature did say after 14 days my cycling took 23 days until I was happy the ammonia and nitrite levels were 0 each day. I then bought and introduced 6 danios...well success and very happy fish. My tank water is crystal clear, I did one partial water change after 19 days. I recommend setting up your fish tank in this way as it is so upsetting to loose fish during the cycling process. It's excellent value for money and providing you carefully follow the instructions you shouldn't have any problems.

Perfect for fish less cycling a new aquarium.
Perfect for fishless cycling a new aquarium, I followed the instructions and my tank has cycled. Much more accurate then using fish food or household ammonia.

Perfect for a fishless cycle.
I used this with ATM colony and it took about 28 days to finish a fishless cycle. Working with the API test kit, I simply followed the instructions but it didn’t happen in the the short time stated but that didn’t bother me, it was done properly and the fish are not happy and healthy in a fully cycled tank without stress.

Disappointed
Used to use this product years ago when cycling my tanks as i was and still am against fish in cycles. You seem to have to used a lot more of the product in order to gain the right ppm of ammonia, also if memory serves me right there used to be a strong smell of ammonia if you dared had a sniff...Now there's practically no ammonia odour..All points to a less concentration of Ammonia Chloride..therefore need to buy more.

Starting off a new tank
New to aquatics- wanted to set up new tank asap to transfer black moors to a larger tank. This seemed to quicken this process

Perfect to cycle your aquarium without harming fish
What can I say its ammonia in a bottle! Perfect for fishless cycle of an aquarium. Comes with dosing on the bottle of drops per gallon. Combined with the api masterkit you cant go wrong.Does seem pretty expensive for what it is though. A larger tank would need more than one bottle and so can be an expensive way to cycle. Other household ammonia products are also tank safe but I didnt want to risk it to save a few quid

Perfect for aquarium cycling
Bought to get a fish-less cycle started in a few of my aquariums. The dosage guide is printed on the bottle and it just gives your cycle a kick-start. Easy to use and will last for an age as you are only using a few drops at a time. Recommended to get your aquarium up and running asap. You still have to wait for the nitrifying bacteria to grow, but this provides the ammonia source to feed them.
