Unicorn Food: Rainbow Treats and Colorful Creations to Enjoy and Admire (Whimsical Treats)

Came across this by accident seeing it at library. I had to buy it and when it came I was surprised to see the beautiful quality of the book!!! It’s beautiful and filled with delicious recipes!!! A must buy and will be buying it as a gift for fellow baking lovers! Pretty book to even display!

The book is awesome! I got it from the library at school. The recipes look so yummy and I tried the Frappuccino recipe, I mainly look at the pictures to admire and enjoy. Best choice for rainbow/unicorn lovers. Recipes are so cute and yummy

Unicorn Food by Cayla Gallagher is one of my favorite cookbooks I own. The cover has glittery texture on the frosting as well as on the title, I like how it's not on the whole cover, but gives just enough to capture my eyes. Each recipe patterns a pastel color in the order of: green, pink, yellow, blue. Which follows the theme of rainbow. The colors are light enough so I'm not focused more on the background than the recipes. Each recipe has it's own photo, this is one of the features I love the most, I love when cookbooks have a photo of what the cook or baker has in mind. Miss Gallagher mentioned that each of the recipes are written so they can be changed to what the reader has in mind to make. I'm excited to test out recipes such as vanilla confetti cake, rainbow confetti cookies, candy heart coconut dumplings, rainbow bubble punch, unicorn parfaits, rainbow cinnamon rolls, and rainbow chocolate chips.There wasn't anything that I didn't dislike about this book.

I bought this book for my young daughter, who is into unicorns, rainbows and baking. It is a cute book with nice photos, and I'm sure we will try a few of the recipes. There are a few adult recipes in the book, including one for shot glasses.

The photos in this book show beautiful unicorn-inspired treats! I like the color coding of the pages to keep the parts of a recipe together. The recipes mostly are not for kids to make, but they would enjoy them! I can't wait to try a few of these for my unicorn-crazed littles.

My daughter and her cousin love cooking these recipes together at our weekly virtual baking club.

I got this book for my daughters 12th birthday because she loves to bake and I thought this would be a fun whimsical book for her to get excited about recipes. And she does love it! We are going on a vacation to see the grandparents in a few weeks and she's bringing this book.

Gave this book to my daughter for her 8th birthday and you would have thought the heavens opened up and dropped the book down for her. Every recipe is rainbow or unicorn themed and most of them are simple enough that she can attempt them on her own with some guidance. Obviously, she'll be skipping the cocktails, but the confections are just right for my little fairytale foodie.

I decided to get this book as it looked interesting. I was really surprised to find that all the recipes seem really good. I have since bought two more books by this author and am looking forward to the next release. Great recipes in there. Definitely recommend to anyone liking mythical subjects

I've made all of these treats in the hope of capturing a Unicorn.I've left them under a really big box propped up with a stick tied to a piece of string but have had no luck in bagging a Unicorn for my daughter.So instead of letting them go to waste we ate them ourselves.They're really yummy but this is where I'm once again disappointed.. they don't make you poop rainbows..Oh well back to the drawing board...

This is a very cute book, but I bought it as a gift for a child who loves to bake and cook, and there are several recipes for alcohol based drinks in it. Had I known, I definitely would have chosen a different book. (Had it been for my own child, I wouldn't have minded, but I don't feel right about giving it to someone else's child).
