I've always been good at brushing my teeth with a plain old toothbrush. So good, even, that dentists have been able to tell. The trick is to use less toothpaste and brush for a long time, about as long as a typical pop song. I changed dentists recently and the new one told me I must get this brand of electric. I did so.There is a marked difference. The difference isn't how clean my teeth get; they feel as clean as they did when I brushed the old way. But now, they feel that way longer. Six hours after brushing I can run my tongue over the surfaces and they still feel slick, instead of fuzzy.The negatives: I'm still not used to putting a relatively big electronic device in my mouth and now, over a month since the purchase, it still makes me drool about a pint. Also, it's changed brushing from an intuitive thing to a measured procedure. I'm in my late sixties, the age at which if you don't take care of some things they fall apart faster. I have many fillings and some caps (the sins of my youth, when I only brushed once a day and didn't floss), but I've yet to have a root canal or need an implant. I'm hoping this method can help me stave off the need for both.

Bought this toothbrush on my dentist's recommendation. As the tile says, I feel the difference right away. The brush seems to be very thorough on the teeth and gives a nice tingling feeling when done. It glides smoothly on the surface of the teeth so no pain. One will probably need to get used to the sensation especially if one has been using a regular brush but you will get used to it. I still have not figured out how to stop the brush after the required two minutes so I will have to experiment. The charge lasts a good long time - for weeks on end - the initial charge is about nine hours out of the box. The brush has a sturdy hard plastic handle and the unit is completely waterproof so have no fear of rinsing it out thoroughly after each use. The unit does not come with a case or protective covers for the brush head so please read my reviews for these add-on products. Oral B should have provided these items, at least brush covers but it si what it is. So I am satisfied so far - I hope my dentist will be too!

I have osteoperosis, which causes bone loss in my teeth and gum disease. This was recommended by my dentist. It is a game changer! I no longer suffer through the painful deep gum scraping deep cleanings! It brushes my teeth so thoroughly, even in the hard to reach places. My teeth feel so smooth. The battery lasts a long time and it is not noisy like battery operated brushes. I'm so glad I have this Oral B IOS. It's saving my teeth. And that's no exaggeration.

I work out of town a lot, sometimes I’m away from home for months. I went away for work and realized that I forgot to pack my toothbrush so I immediately ordered a new one. I don’t like brushing without it; it cleans my teeth thoroughly.

Cleaner feeling mouth and gums are looking healthier after only a few weeks of use. Far superior to a regular tooth brush. Multiple speeds and intensity have been nice to step up cleaning routine. Pleased with purchased and would purchase again.

I had purchased a Oral-B Pro 1000 Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush, Black back in 2021, and it finally gave up the ghost in August of 2024 so I ordered this Oral-B iO Series 2 Rechargeable Electric Powered Toothbrush because of the good battery life I had experienced and the quality of the Oral-B products. This one has a timer built in and it does a fantastic job of cleaning my teeth. I would recommend this toothbrush to anyone!!
