I purchased the Smart Keychain thinking it would be a convenient way to share digital content. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the expectations. Despite the product being advertised as compatible with both Android and iOS, it wouldn’t work on my iPhone or my son’s Android phone, no matter how many times we tried. After several frustrating attempts, we finally got it to work on the computer, but that kind of defeats the purpose of having a “smart” keychain that’s supposed to work on the go. Lightweight and durable, yes—but reliable, not at all. We ended up returning it. Definitely not what I was hoping for.

I must start by saying I received these in late May. Upon initial setup, I noticed the web certificate was invalid so I just stopped and set them aside.I picked them up this week and it seems they have updated the web site and it looks a bit better as well. The customer is presented with a large variety of use cases for the cards and tags - everything from business cards to luggage and pet tags plus some payment directing options that I would need to dig deep into.One can build a quick "website" using canned templates. I setup a few business cards and a personal card to test and I have to say it is a simple but effective solution. This is nothing too difficult to do yourself if you have a hosted website and want to deal with the security issues. But, for simple things like tracking lost luggage or sharing business cards, this is a simple and apparently safe solution.These work just like the business cards but the form factor is a little more pocket friendly.

It does work and nice for a bag or something like that. Forget changing info however because it's terrible to use the website after initial account creation and login

I am really happy with the experience. For the price, the ease and hardware quality is outstanding. I'm quite surprised this isnt used along side or even replaced business cards as the standard now.For a while I was researching NFC readers and writers but was quickly overwhelmed by all the different hardware systems, required programming, and subscriptions. Good solution to all that complicated NFC hardware and programming software. They really made the hardware setup dead simple and now I have the digital NFC business card I've been looking for. The best part is no subscription needed for a single user. The hard part is making the profile look nice. The online design interface and templates are not elegant and could use some better design. The keychain itself is small and compact and feels smooth and good build quality I expect it to last, although aesthetically it could look better too.

I followed the exact directions and it doesn’t work.

This is so much easier than fishing for business cards out of your pocket. One quick scan or tap, and bam! you've shared your info. Plus the recipient is not stuck carrying around and organizing business cards. The set up through the browser. You just have to have your contact info and socials ready to enter.

I have my devices with me constantly in a bag. I’m starting a web design business and thought this would be an easy way to meet a potential client and quickly give access to sample in my portfolio.
