A lifestyle book, not an interior design book
This is Paris as lived by actual humans, not through the lens of an interior design teamās interpretation. The irony is that many of the profiled interiors are those belonging to artists, aesthetes, and designers (such as Jacques Grange). As such, these are eclectic trips; donāt expect a picture perfect, curated design Mt Everest. Somehow that makes these interiors all the more human, in their undiluted idiosyncrasy. Donāt buy this if you want a portfolio of an interior design firmās postcard perfect work. This is human living, raw, blemished, and quirky. It is also quintessentially Parisian.

Very inspiring
This is an absolutely beautiful book of interiors. There is a pretty wide array of homes featured, though they are mostly on the maximal end of the spectrum, which is what I personally prefer. If you like very interesting and colorful spaces, this book is a good thing to get your brain going. I personally like to look at this kind of book before doing completely unrelated creative work, such as painting or sewing, because it makes me feel more excited to work on those types of things afterwards. This would be a lovely gift for a creative person.

Poor Content
The book is bound well with nice quality paper & color. Architecture in Paris is always stunning. The contents sadly looks like the finishes & interiors were scavenged from flea markets. Nothing looks well curated.

Very luxurious looking, but too much
a little too overwhelmingly decorated for my taste. I sent this book back.
