Amazing!
Looked into an ergonomic chair like most of the other people here for back/leg circulation problem; prefer to sit cross-legged. Tried two different chairs that didn't work out - saved this one but didn't pull the trigger due to price and the fact that this chair is PU (not leather, as some reviews refer to... it's polyeurathane/"fake leather"/very common plasticy-rubber synthetic material). I didn't want to spend this kind of money on a non-leather/fabric chair. That said, a lot of the reviews here talking about the quality of this chair and seeing the state of some chairs that customers said were over a year old and some even buying more than one for different desks (home and office, etc.) changed my mind. Just set it up and it is VERY comfortable - typing this review while sitting cross-legged in my chair. The material is not thin or sticky, very smooth and comfortable; one of my other failed chairs had very thin stuffing that I could feel the nuts and bolts through after about a month despite me being solidly average size (gifted it to a thinner/lighter-weight friend lol). So, time will tell as we go along and I'll try to update if things change, but so far, I'm pleased: not flimsy, not too heavy/easy to assemble on my own (approx 20 min), smooth wheels, easy to adjust height and seatback. I got the larger size despite being 5'2" and strongly suggest everyone just get the bigger size, especially if you work from home and expect to be sitting in it for long periods.

Great if you have trouble sitting "normal"
For ages, I've had trouble sitting normally in a desk chair. I always end up cross legged, which eventually became hell on my ankles and hips. The standing desk and the yoga ball didn't work for me - I fidget too much. I considered this chair for probably a year before I finally gave in, and I waited about a month before writing a review to get past the novelty factor. I can say wholeheartedly this chair is awesome. I did buy the more expensive version with the adjustable back and I don't regret that. The seat is firm but not hard. The back is low but perfect for lumbar support. Mostly though I really love the foot stool portion that swings with no resistance. I move frequently between different sitting positions and it feels natural, not like I'm unfolding myself from a desk chair like I have in the past. Overall, very happy with this purchase.

Too expensive for quality
I absolutely love this chair and being able to use it to sit in so many different body positions. However, it’s very expensive for the quality as I’ve had some of the parts come out and need to re-install (with about 6 months of consistent use) so it’s a little unstable. It was fairly easy to assemble, but I did need to look up a video online to complete it since the written instructions provided were unclear.

A little flimsy - There is a maximum size person this thing can hold.
Aside from this being a little flimsy for the price I paid, at 5'9" & 205lbs I'm at the top end of what I'd consider "comfy" on the chair. It just feels like I'm sometimes just a little too large for the chair. I do enjoy the foot swivel portion, but it doesn't make a full 360 around the base. Therefore, sometimes it gets in the way depending on the chair's position because it suddenly stops when you're trying to move it out of the way. Am I glad I bought it? Yeah. Does it have some serious room for improvement? Also yeah.

I am pleased with the chair
I've looked at so many "meditation" office chairs and read countless reviews. I was hesitant to purchase this chair because of the price tag but it was absolutely worth it. I work from home and it looks very nice in my office. I got the "wide" seat and I'm about a size 10 in women's pants and the seat is the perfect size for my booty. I do think that heavier/wider people may not find this chair as comfortable as I do. I typically prefer to sit cross legged and previously was using a foot stool and a normal rolling chair but I would get uncomfortable or my legs would fall asleep. I can comfortably sit with my legs crossed on the foot rest of this chair. When I start to get restless or need to adjust I can choose any number of other positions. Some of my other favorites are just sitting forward and tucking my ankles back behind the foot rest, or sitting almost in a squat with my knees up and my feet fully planted on the foot rest. The chair was easy enough to put together. Sparse instructions but it's intuitive and took me a total of maybe 30 mins? I've had the chair a month or so now and it's dramatically improved my work from home experience :) My critique would be for more adjustability of the back rest - that would be nice. But mostly I don't use the backrest, I tend to sit straight up/forward, being mindful of my posture.

Poor quality! Not worth :(
I have adhd and have a hard time staying in a single position on a traditional office chair. I thought this chair could help me focus better but I ended up returning. First of all, the quality is very poor for the price. Out of the box, the PU leather was already lifting and bunching up in different places and I could already tell it wouldn’t hold up well. Pipersong also only offers 1 year warranty compared to 12 year warranty from brands like Herman Miller, which means they don’t believe in their quality either. For a $400 chair, I feel it’s not acceptable. I was so excited to try it out but ended up very disappointed :( As for the sitting positions, it somehow made sitting more distracting. All the positions I tried, no matter how I adjusted the backrest and seat height, the chair was weirdly digging into my thighs and for someone who’s sensitive to touch I could not find a comfortable position. I’d say the only stable and comfortable position was criss cross but it put quite a bit of strain on the hips I don’t think would be sustainable for long hours of work at the desk. Maybe it was me being influenced by social media… after all it must be called a meditation chair for a reason, not an office chair. If you are being influenced like me, consider other chairs or getting a foot rest before buying! I think for the price there are a lot of better options out there. Also they make return difficult. It was so hard disassembling everything - some parts were impossible to separate and was so hard to fit everything back into the box. they supposedly charge you 30-50% restocking fee depending on how you pack it :(

I love this chair!
I have to say, I was hesitant and skeptical about this chair. I purchased it for my work from home desk chair that I am in Monday to Friday for 8+ hours. After day one I was overjoyed that my hips, back and neck were no longer hurting me. A simple shift in whatever position I want and I can stretch my legs, back etc. My husband commented that I seem happier. I totally am! No longer having the usual aches has changed my affect! The chair was easy to assemble, and I’m impressed on how well made it is. I love this chair!!! ❤️

Did not work for me
I was SO excited for this chair, but have been SO disappointed now after 5 months of daily use. I prefer being able to sit cross legged and had been sitting on a meditation cushion at a desk for years when I went looking for something that might give me more versatility in positioning when working at my desk. I’m the type of person who will shell out more money for quality, so I chose this chair over other less expensive models and had high hopes for the features. There are small things that weren’t ideal about this chair, but I will focus my review on the biggest things that caused me issues. While I appreciated that you can adjust the height of the seat relative to the leg rest for various body needs, at any height the leg rest does not position to support the cross legged position that works best for my body- which is bringing my feet closer into my pelvis- and the seat does not allow for a forward tilt of the pelvis. I tried adding cushioning and at different heights and no relief. For me, this leads to rounding of the lower back and significantly more strain on my hips and knees. This contributed to a major injury in my right knee that has set in overtime from trying to make this position work. I have experimented with my old position and do not have this strain issue sitting that way. Additionally, I did not find I used the other positions much at all. Sitting on my knees/shins did not feel adequately supported by the leg rest- my feet hung off the edge and hit against the bottom of the seat, so I could not sustain this position more than a few minutes at a time. To sit with my feet on the floor meant i needed to adjust my seat height each time from where I needed and to work around the leg rest, which felt like a nuisance. I work on video a lot and I’d often be noticed struggling in my chair. Not finding the versatility of the chair all that accessible to me took away from the main reasons why I got it and paid so much for it. For reference I’m 5’7 and 180lbs, so fairly average body, and again, someone quite used to sitting cross legged and on my knees on cushions for posture and focus purposes. As I’m well past a return window, I will be looking to resell this at this point.

Comfortable but damaged
Comfortable but lots of scuffs on it considering the price.

So comfy and does what it says
A really comfortable chair with goos functionality - it has made working from home easier. Easy to assemble but some pieces aren't particularly sturdy, for example the back rest will slip down throughout the day regardless of how tight it is tied. It looks lovely, though there are already 2 marks on the foot stool and the customer service advised it must have been from water. I drink water at my desk, so a small drip of water shouldn't really cause that much damage given the cost of the product. More durable fabric would have improved the value for money
