Deadpool: World's Greatest Vol. 6 collects issues #20-25 of the current (2015) series, and it is yet another stunningly good one (or maybe I was just in a receptive frame of mind, but so what?).As I keep saying in these reviews, Deadpool, on the whole, is a fairly uninteresting character, and in the hands of ‘average’ writers is usually a fairly average comic book.In the hands of Gerry Duggan, however, it is (usually) a 5-star series. This current series has been a bit hit and miss, tending to be down in the 4-star band, whereas the previous one was usually up in the 5s.Well, this one is back up there at last, with a stand-alone story leading into a 4-parter dealing with Madcap, and the final issue closing down the Deadpool 2099 serial (and just in time, too, with the graphic novel / collection is due soon).Without giving out any spoilers, this is an edge of the seat story (the main one), with some serious plot-elements established for the future, some continuity with the present thrown in (in the opening story), and the other future – 2099 – finally sorted out. This is definitely “my” Deadpool; someone else can have the other ones.
