If you have a lot of measuring to do this is a great little tool. You have to practice the various functions and how to use them properly but even without a manual you get the hang of it soon thanks to an easy to use touch screen and menu. The only downside to a measuring tape is that you need a surface at the other end to have the laser bounce off, like a wall. A bush or similar would not suffice usually (specifically not over long distances, but a compromise if precision is secondary is to hit the ground from an angle). The mobile phone connection is a treat and I have measured objects like furniture and added the dimensions to a picture I took them all through the app. Also very helpful is the function to name distances or area measurements and give them a name on your phone. Small so it fits easily into your backpocket.

Was it only me going around the house and measuring every wall, ceiling, floor etc? Anyway, this is packaged beautifully and thoughtfully. The case that you will store this laser meter is tough and secure however, the meter itself can move inside a little bit which could end up in damaging the meter if you throw it around like a garbage bag. It comes with a nice looking wrist lanyard and also very nice charging cable. The meter itself look fantastic and it is very easy to use at least when doing some basic measurements. There is a fairly strong light just in case you need to take measurements in the dark with two brightness levels. I really like the design as it is very basic rectangular shape with four buttons on the side and one on the front. The whole device is quite small which was a little surprise but it is fantastic looking laser meter. To be honest I didn't expect that this little device will have so many options for measurements. It can measure not only distances up to 100m but also it gives you an immediate and constant angle. It has an option to measure the corner angles and works as spirit level too. It can cleverly calculate volumes and areas as well as indirectly measure the height or length. The possibilities are very broad with this and many professionals will find the use for them. For a simple DIYer like myself it might be a little bit too much as I won't use the full potential of this little device. However, it is great to know that I can do so much with it. Overall, very pleased not only with the looks of this little meter but also with the accuracy and functionality. It will be well worth it forany professional and some advanced DIYers.

This is more targeted at the DIYer that wants a fancy toy or people like surveyors than trades folk as its not ruggedised in any way and has a few issues in the design and software. The unit itself has a bright easy to read screen and many MANY functions including liking to your phone using the Tuya app which is nice if you want to put measurements straight into a spreadsheet or onto a diagram within the app. The screen itself is touch screen, while this is nice, the responsiveness of the screen and inputs is sluggish which makes it feel a lot more budget than the premium market that its targeting. The Manual is chunky but only 23 pages of which are in English and the instructions for some of the modes are pretty unclear. Again some of the functions require swiping on the screen which is no good with dirty hands or similar while working on a job as a trades person. There is also a tripod screw on the base for taking flat, accurate measurements. The digital level function, unfortunately is hard to use due to the display updates being so very sluggish and feels more like a gimmick than it should do. The supplied hard case is nice, and the charging cable is braided but excessively short to the point that it might as well not have been included. Unless you charge it from a socket or power back only around 3 inches away, then you will need your own cable. There is a wrist strap supplied, but the loop entry is so deep and narrow with steep angles that its impossible to actually thread it through even with a lot of patience. Needed to use a needle to pull at the end of the loop to get it installed in the end.

The MiLESEEY D9 pro laser distance meter with visual aligning indicator is excellent quality and packed full of functions and tech, included with it you get a nice carry case, lanyard, charging cable and detailed instructions. My first impressions of the device was of the quality, it is well built and the additional components supplied compliment it nicely, there are lots of settings and functions built in, some of which I never knew existed on such a device, if you are familiar with laser measuring devices then some of the functions and settings I would imagine are familiar here, if you are new then I think there will be a bit of a learning curve required depending on how advanced your measurements have to be. I use this device for simple jobs around the home, I have a landscaping project I want to do this year and this has made my challenge so much easier to manage, it is capable of measuring distances and angles with ease, it has a built in level that displays live feedback on the clear display. I like that there are 3 lasers that can be used to measure, the side beams can be used for alignment when hanging shelves and pictures around the home, I connected the device to the smartlife app and I was able to take measurements and apply them to a shape that I plotted, this info can be further exported if you require, it can also be mounted onto a tripod using the thread on the underside. Overall, this device has transformed my measurement skills around the home, I was able to quickly measure the surface area of a wall to work out how much wallpaper I needed, and my garden area to order timber for a project, in the future I will be keeping this close by on all my projects around the home, be aware of the beam when using if there are people around, top quality device with functions I never knew possible from such a device, thank you.

Come da titolo, ho acquistato questo favoloso prodotto completo di molte funzioni per le più svariate misurazioni che si possano fare/incontrare durante il suo uso. Il prodotto a mio avviso risulta essere di ottima qualità costruttiva, in alluminio nella sua totale grandezza viene correlato con una discreta protezione più un laccetto. Cosa molto utile sia la calamita che corre su tutto il lato SX del prodotto, più una torcia abbastanza potente da salvarti nelle situazioni particolari. Il prodotto è molto preciso nelle funzioni di misurazioni possiede anche il +/- per determinare la massima precisione del valore di misura. Comoda anche l'app da scaricare tramite codice QR, la quale si può usare per ricreare/riportare le misure di un muro/stanza/casa ma anche di un pezzo di lavorazione tipo assi di legno/ferro ecc. Il tutto arriva in nulla scatola ufficiale del prodotto, al cui interno il prodotto è inserito in una custodia per trasporto + cavo per la ricarica + manuale delle istruzioni. Come sempre anche un plauso ad Amazon per la celerità nella spedizione. Lo consiglio a colore che come me si dilettano nei lavori di bricolage, ma anche nei piccoli lavori di misurazioni di casa.

This product is very accurate, handy and awesome. Only downside is the pure heaviness because of its metallic body, beware of its shock absorption capability vs any other plastic model. Thankfully It has a silicon cover but if it falls the wrong way I guess thats it. 200 euros down the gutter 🤕. Very good piece of equipment tho, just very unsettling to use psicologically incase it drops which is my only downside

I've had a chance to try this out briefly, and so far, it's doing everything it promises. It feels lightweight and sits comfortably in my hand, making it easy to use. The app setup is also straightforward, allowing me to access all the information I need quickly.

I have been using the Mileseey laser distance meter for a few weeks now. I was able to get very accurate measurements for setting up my new raised beds in the garden, so everything is inline and equidistant apart. Note: When using it outdoors you have to be able to see the the laser point on the object being measured for it to function correctly. Every time I use it, I seem to continually discover more functions. I would normally be using this for measuring distances, but it can measure angles, act as laser level or bubble level, take point to point measurements, area measurements, volume measurements and more. There is a few buttons on the side which control power, measuring functions and settings as well as large measurement button on the front. There is also button for the built-in led flashlight that has 2 brightness modes and can be operated independently. It also comes with a small wrist lanyard that you can attach to the tool. The display is fairly easy to read and you can easily scroll through different modes and functions using the touch screen. You can also take measurements by tapping the screen vice pressing the measure button. If you want to use the phone app, the Smart Life application is easy to download and install from the Play Store. If you are not familiar the Smart Life app, it is a all-in-one application from Tuya that allows many different types of Smart devices to communicate and function together. I previously had the application installed on my phone and as soon as I turned on the distance meter it detected and paired. The app allows you to receive and visualize measurements, as well as send data to someone else, such as a contractor or supplier. I definitely think the App is of more use to the pros than someone like myself, however it could prove to be handy if I was requesting estimates. The one weakness I found so far is that the built-in back magnet is not as strong as some of my other laser tools. I tested it vertically on the fridge, it stayed on the surface but it would slide slightly. I would definitely use a tripod with it if I needed absolute accurate measurements. Overall, I found this be a fairly pro-grade tool and the average DIYer might be better off with a simpler and more budget friendly laser distance meter. If however you need absolute accuracy, lots of functionality and measuring modes the Mileseey D9 Pro certainly fits the bill.
