I am very interested in drawing for relaxation purposes and this set was perfect for me as a beginner, and I'm sure would be wonderful for those with expertise. Great value, high quality and immensely gratifying. Erasers were too quality and the lead choices made my sketches pop!

This is a perfect set for the office. I like to draw during lunch and having a set with a nice hard case allows me to keep everything together and compact. I have added a small, sharpener, blending sub and eraser and they all fit. The pencils sharpen nicely, no cracking or fraying, and the leads are smooth and erase easily. My first sketch with them was the cute squirrel on the front of the case. I named him Rusty. I then tried a rose. I am not a pro, just a beginner but I think anyone would be happy with these pencils.

The set of 14 pencils of varying hardness are comfortable to hold and travel well in their metal case. I like the quality of the pencils. So far, I have only used them for shading zentangle art cards and a bit of sketching. Also, they sharpen well in a basic art pencil sharpener.I recommend these for anyone wanting to explore using pencils for sketching or drawing.

The presentation and packaging is amazing, but the pencils I got were not great. The lead would break off constantly. I just got them, have had to sharpen one almost to a srub. Their customer service is excellent. I'm hoping it was a bad batch, and look forward to trying out more of their products.

I've just started learning to draw in a class. We've learned circles, then blending shading into spheres, then fruits. In class, we use pencils selected by the instructor, but I wanted something to practice with at home. I really like these! They go on buttery smooth and blend like a dream. My finished sketches look like greyscale watercolors. My only complaint would be compared to the pencils in class, the darker pencils deposit a LOT of graphite. Not powder, but just a faint stroke with a dark pencil yields so much material that I'm having to lift it with an eraser before I can blend it to show changes in value, otherwise my sketches end up too uniformly dark grey. I've migrated from 6B, which we use in class, to 4B, in the hope that I can get more control over the blending without having to erase so much.

I love that the kit came with a handwritten thank you note, it was a lovely touch. There's a nice range in the pencils and the erasers help someone like me erase again and again until Ie felt good about what I made.

I've spent a lot on pencils, but they go missing or I don't have the correct graphite. The tin that holds these will solve the missing pencil issue for me! This set has H and B, and when I swatched them, they were nice to use. Not as soft as other pencils I have, but these are brand new and came sharpened, but that's actually a plus for me, so I want to keep using them and see how they work. I had an issue with this set, and the customer service responded immediately, no complaints. I was not asked to write a review in return for their help, I am doing so because I like this new-to-me product and the customer service.
