Fruit of the LoomBoys' Big 6-Pair Half Cushion Crew Socks

***UPDATE***18Jan2020Our son naturally has had several big growth spurts since these awesome socks. I still cant find these in the bigger sizes. His foot is bigger than mine now. So, weve had to move to another brand. But, these socks were wonderful while they fit him. He would wear them outside on concrete and basically only took them off to shower & change to a clean pair. He would still go outside in sock feet despite my protests and begging him not to. Lol. So, he would get wear holes mostly at the big toe and/or the heel. The price was great so I never minded buying more. For how much he wore these socks, they held up for a good amount of time and because of that, they warranted the 5 star glowing review. Though we have moved on from these socks, I stand by my original review. You wont go wrong with these socks - my picky kid loved them!!!I ordered these for our 13 year old son. He is INCREDIBLY picky about socks. He has flat, fallen arches and his feet hurt him pretty bad constantly. He likes his socks tight, but not too tight...thick, but not too thick, and soft. He's the Goldilocks of socks lol! These are doing the job. We have ordered 3 packages so far! He wears socks all the time. Because his feet are always sore, he doesn't like to go barefoot. Keeping a 'just right enough' sock on and the warmth of them help his feet not hurt as bad. These hold up well to constant wash and wear. The colors are nice...I like the grey as they don't show dirt and stains nearly as bad as white. So many boy's clothes have these colors (neon yellow/green, orange, cobalt blue, red, orange) in them, and you get plain dark grey on the light grey too, so they will match just about anything. We are about to order a 4th package and also a package of the black ones. The fact that he likes these enough to have requested more says everything. These socks are great. I don't mind replacing them when he gets holes simply because of how much he wears them. Any sock not made of kevlar will wear out when worn as much as he wears these. One must be reasonable when reviewing and take such things into account. We love these socks. I wish I could find them in the next size up!!!For reference, our son wears a size 3-4 big kid shoe (he's a bit small for his age, and lean) and we ordered the big boy's Large - 3-9 shoe size. They fit great with a little growing room, but not much.***I ALWAYS wash clothes in cold water and on a low wash cycle (just above delicate). I ALWAYS dry on low heat as well. Washing clothes in warm, or especially hot, water degrades the integrity of any fabric faster (this is especially true for denim). Only the mega dirty will go in a warm water wash...he can't stand for his feet to be dirty (they are very sensitive too) so he will change socks before they are that dirty. Pre-treating stains and color safe bleach works wonders for clothes to come out great with cold water washes...and they will last longer too!

My 10 year old is in this weird stage of growing where his feet are too big for "kid" socks but too small for adult socks. These are about 2 inches too big (the heel of the sock sits on the back of his Achilles tendon) but he'll have to grow into them since I cant find socks that fit his size 2 foot. The socks are soft, sturdy, and come up to the top of his calf.

These socks have held up very well. I have notice they strunk slightly after the first wash.

I thought I looked at the size chart but ordered the wrong size. They don't fit bc they're tight. I ordered a Large for my son that wears size 5 sneakers. But they are too small. I may donate them now

These socks fit well for our ten year old boy and are comfortable but how long they will last till they get holes we will find out. Have used them for only a week or so.

They shrink. I bought them for the kid that wears size 7 shoes, but after one wash, they only fit the kid that wears size 4 shoes.

I bought these socks for my 11 year old son after reading some positive reviews. My son wears a size 6 in shoes, so I bought the big boys size large socks. I thought the socks were going to be too small when I first opened the package, but they fit perfectly. They are not too tight or too big. My son says he loves them because they are really comfortable. I will definitely purchase another pack!

I purchased large even though my kids only 10 years old. They showed up and it was difficult to put on, he couldn't do it himself. Sure enough it was like a spandex sock, no cushion, not really soft either. Contacted Amazon to send back for a refund. Apparently a few thousand people ran into the same issue.

These are very nice socks. My grandson loves them. They fit well, wash well and look nice
