Will protect on a fall but build quality could be better.
All the pads are easy enough to put on with assistance. They are secure enough not to slip during play requiring constant adjustment. As a young child would find that annoying and difficult during play. The wrist supports are poorly designed so a star is removed for that. Then the stitching quality as others have commented is poor in places. My daughter is pretty gentle and I can see that even she will make the seems come undone in places since the stichting already looks like it's on the edge. A boy would destroy the stitching quickly. To avoid this I have taken out the sewing kit and strengthened the seams where required in about 20 mins. For the price I have not minded doing this. A good set is probably double the price. This cheaper version with a bit of work to increase the strength of the seams come in at better value. I'd like to be able to give and extra half point but I'm closer in my mind to 3 than 4.Update 29/08/2017.After posting my review I received a very nice email from the vendor. They offered a refund for the quality issue ( although I could have got that through prime initially) they offered the refund after the prime 30 days which was very kind of them. they also offered to send out a replacement.I find it really laudable when companies on amazon monitor their feedback and take care to write. It was not an automated response as far as I can tell. For clarity I declined both the offer of replacement ( as I fixed the quality issue) and the refund because I don't want my review to be bais based on financial gain ( even small ones like the cost of this item). The increase of the rating to 4 comes from the fact the company paid attention to customers feedback. It could have been a 5 were it not for the quality issues. The agent assured me that in the future this would be resolved.

They are ok but very cheap looking but they do the job, you get what you pay for. My daughter is a chubby 4yr old and these fit her fine with plenty of room to grow

Good set for money
Nice little set of protective gear for a little one. Nice colour & set all matches. Easy to fit and seems like good quality. Good price for good item.

Disappointed
I initially thought this was a great little set - fits my small 5yr old with growing room - however, you do get what you pay for. After a couple of uses the fabric straps have frayed and have detached on one wrist guard - unable to find seller detail to contact for replacement

Good items
Brought for my 6 yrs old son, chose this one cos' it is for very small children- my son is tiny & slim, suggest if the Velcro strap got a bit longer then it will be more flexible for different size kids. In general, it gives good protection to the kids when they ride on bike.

Really works.
Excellent. Received order next day and it was just as well as my five year old had only been on her bike 3 minutes and she managed to go over the handle bars. The wrist guards saved her hands from major tarmac burn. She didn’t have a single scratch or bump and got straight back on her bike. Really good, she loves them too.

For the accident prone child
We have a child that would be better off wrapped in bubble wrap, but since thats not accepted by society, we make her wear pads when she rides her bike or electric scooter. I know, why are we allowing our accident-prone 8-year-old clumsy child to own an electric scooter? Because we are bad parents. These help. She still finds ways to scrape up and bruise every other part of her body. These protect her main concern areas. I might be ordering bubble wrap anyway!
