I ordered this book as a gift for a friend with a new baby. We watched her 3 week old be totally mesmerized by the first image we showed her. Now they keep a new picture from the book near her change mat and it is very calming. Earth Designs is a very innovative idea and is filled with so much information. It is much more interesting than your standard black and white baby book--for parents and babies alike!

My 3 month old loves this book! She doesn't look away from the pictures the entire time we are reading! It is very engaging for my 5 and 9 year olds too, and has prompted extended research about the various topics. A fun purchase!

you can tell this book is made with love. from its hand-drawn shapes to the materials it's made of and simple details like cut outs and brief and simple yet profound texts about the content and it's purpose, it's a gem. my baby started loving this book at two months!

I was taken by the facts in this unusual book that is of interest for mums, dads and babies at the same time. I have recommended it to every single friend with babies. I also found out that on the authors' webpage there is an option to order a personalized felt board book as a gift, where a personal message, baby's name, any photo can be added. Absolutely, adore it!

Mesmerised! Simply mesmerised my baby boy. At last, I can share my love for reading with my baby so early in his life. I enjoyed reading the facts about all these pictures, while my little one studied the pictures. It even stopped him crying and distracted him long enough for me to enjoy a hot cuppa tea! Unheard of for a new mum!

I bought this for my grandson as a first book and we both love this book, it is full of interesting facts, great pictures and the paper is really good quality and can take a lot of dribble and rough handling! I am looking for more books in this series as I think that this book is so well thought out and put together, and very appealing visually and on a tactile level too. Well done this is a very cosmic baby book and I thimk my grandson will continue to enjoy this book for many years

Little boy- 6months- got a deep paper cut while reading with his daddy. Blood everywhere! Pages are made from normal paper not thicker/child friendly kind that are usually found in young children’s books. Perhaps cut out the pages & laminate.Otherwise quite engaging.

I love this, my baby loves looking at the images and there are smaller versions you can cut out and laminate. I enjoyed reading the explanations out too. I recommend this little book.
