Nice mould. Works well, and is nicely carved, so you get a good definition on pastry. The mould itself is 80mm in diameter and 15mm deep. The whole lump of wood measures 207m long by 105mm at its widest point. Having a nice long handle really comes in handy for tapping things out of the mould so they come out more easily.

It does come unfinished, which I found a little annoying, so I oiled it with food grade oil before using and gave it a sand down on the outside to make it perfectly smooth. Otherwise it’s fine. It’s about the quality you’d expect from something that is cheaply made to a price, but in terms of practicality, it works perfectly well.

The wooden mould is of Very good quality and size. The weight of the mold is quite alright, easy to handle, I found it easy to use and release the cake.It’s perfect for making individual moon cake and should last for some time.
