Stretchy, comfortable and breathable
Prior to getting this bib, I had only used cheap ones from Aliexpress before. After putting the bib on, it was immediately evident to me how much nicer this bib was. The material and construction is so much more smooth and the chamois feels so much more anchored and integrated, instead of floppy. It took a bit of effort to get them on and situated since the leg hole of the bib is grippy to not ride up or down unintentionally. There is at least 2 inches of this grippy part and surprisingly not that different feeling than the rest of the bib, except that it is more compressive at the opening.Overall, I really like this bib. It doesn't have any weird spots that poke me or give me discomfort like I've experienced from cheap junk. Granted, this bib is not super affordable, but the quality is definitely there. Can recommend if you want to step up your comfort.

Nice Bib Shorts, Good Chamois, Comfortable
PEARL IZUMI's attack line is my favorite line of their bib shorts, they're great for longer rides and those competing in events as the chamois is well made, comfortable and it has all of the features you'd expect in a bib. However, I will say their attack air line is a step above these. As far as comfort goes, I believe it's about a 4 out of 5, I can ride all day on the attack air's while these are great for training rides and about 40-60 miles. They ride a bit warmer than that of the air's and as such do cause a bit of core temperature rise as they don't allow as much cooling. This can also be a good thing at times if it's a slightly cooler day but core temperature can quickly burn you out if you're not acclimated. Also for the price difference between these and the air's I believe puts these to where they're not that great of a value as I'd likely expect these to be a a fair amount less expensive but at the time of writing this review it was a mere $20 and given the difference I think it's much more worthwhile to upgrade to the attack air's instead.

Great bib, but smaller fit than expected
Pearl Izumi makes fantastic products - I’ve used their shoes and bibs for years. Generally I’ve found them to be an excellent mix of high quality and good value for the price. This bib is no different - very nice material and build quality throughout the whole garment, nice padding in the chamois, and very comfortable overall.Only complaint is that it fits quite a bit smaller than I expected. It’s not too small to wear, but it’s very snug. I have experienced this before with Pearl Izumi so I wasn’t surprised, but next time I will make sure to order one size larger than I normally wear.

Excellent Cycling Shorts
Disclaimer: I’m pretty new to riding and only have a little bit of experience with other cycling shorts for comparison. That said I have tried some cheaper Amazon cycling shorts, and these things are night and day better. I’m throwing the cheap ones I had tried out in the trash now that I know what real bike shorts are supposed to feel like. I also got a pair of non-bib Pearl Izumi shorts to try, and the jury is still out on which I personally prefer. I will say that these shorts are a little tighter in the thigh than the other Pearl Izumi non-bib shorts I just picked up.Very comfortable and moisture wicking. Padding is sewn in decently well and the rest of the stitching seems excellent.Product description and photos are accurate.Recommend for anyone needing a nice solid pair of bike shorts

Snug
I’ve seen a lot of riders wearing Pearl Izumi and have had an item or two from the brand in the past but never bib shorts. These appear to be high quality. The pad is comfortable and the stitching is good. The rib around the bottom of the leg fits snug. I’m 5’9”, 165 lbs and about 31 waist. I followed the chart and got small. They are pretty snug but took a few turns on the trainer and seems okay. The suspenders feel a little snug on top as well. I have a feeling I’m probably in between a small and medium. In a perfect world, I’d compare the two but have a feeling the mediums would be too big so will stick with the small and see how it goes.

Overall good
First wear was good. Fit is tight, fits more like European sizing so consider ordering a size up. Breathable and not itchy. My only concern is the fit and that's why I withheld a star.

Great bibs!
This has been my favorite brand for a long time. These shorts keep that love strong! Super soft and stretchy material. The bands at the bottom are made of tiny dots. They stick to your leg really well, but they also come off when you pull them off. The padding is great. You can't go wrong with pearl izumi.

Great bibs, small fit
These are great short ride bibs - maybe under 25 miles. Fit is a little small so if you think you may need to size up, do it. The pad is thick but comfortable, and the straps lay flat and do not bunch on the shoulders. Good utility bib.
