JabscoSea Toilet - Seal Housing Assembly only (1998-2007)

Necessary repair part for the jabsco toilet pump. Previous model had removable seal which was cheap and easily replaced. New model requires complete replacement of seal, housing and o-ring. Old seal deteriorated very slowly. New one does very fast. Have ameliorated problem by pressing a brass sleeve into the top to reduce wear on the plastic which in turn unfairly wears the seal. Nonetheless it does not last as long as the older model. Not very environmentally friendly but good for the bottom line I suppose.

Liquid (hopefully sea water) was issuing alongside the handle of my Jabsco pump toilet; this fixed it but the seal is a flat washer not an o-ring so will probably leak again before long; expensive for what it is. It is possible to replace the whole pump assembly with an upgraded version and this is probably better than replacing all the seals. Also if you shop around a complete new toilet including bowl is available for less than £150.........
