If one is capable then it's easy to assemble.
The instructions are minimaal and very small. If one has a few metric spanners then one will be OK. The only decision I had to make was where the rubber (plastic?) bush fitted, after a few moments I realised that it goes on the end of the handle where it articulates with the steering axel. Finished assebly is OK for the money and will be very usedful in moving my tools to where I do local voluntary work and also in transporting compost and tomato bags from the car around to the back garden. The sides being both capable of removal and hinging down makes for ease of use and flexibility in use.

Great little cart
As per other reviews the instructions are not great but were enough to get by. It just takes a bit of logic to know where everything goes. I also added a sheet of 9mm plywood as as extra protection and strength for the base (48cm x 93cm). The plastic liner is very helpful too as we use the cart for watering our allotment. We bought five 10L watering cans from Toolstation and they fit in perfectly. The plastic liner catches any water which sloshes out while being pulled along. I would recommend a bit of lubrication on the axles as well as the steering mechanism but I am really pleased with the result.

Absolute rubbish
As a pensioner this is an expensive item for me. Needed it to get packages from bottom of my drive 1/4 of a mile) to the house. Absolute rubbish, sides do not fit, do not stay up. But the biggest problem is the frame for the wheels is not shaped right so I have a front wheel that will buckle very quickly. Really disappointed, cheap chinese import. Spend your money elsewhere.
