I want to thank Home Depot for inadvertently directing me to these recessed ceiling lights.I went to my local Home Depot in search of low consumption easy to install ceiling lights. I found similar lights at Home Depot, but they were neither dimmable, smaller bundle, were not as bright and not what I wanted to spend.That was when I stumbled upon these bright boys on Amazon.A set of 24 lights for less than 100 bucks. Can’t be good. It’s awesome!Let’s start with installation. I have a new 1,000 sq. foot off grid cabin in the woods. I needed lights that were bright, but consumed little energy. These 24 lights are enough for the entire cabin.Installation was surprisingly easy. The set of lights come with easy to install spring clamps. The plastic clamps are thick. The springs are taut and sturdy. Very well designed. Every light fixture also comes with a back facing seal, so there is no gap between the ceiling and the light fixture. The seal also makes it easier to remove the fixture, by pulling on its lip. It also comes with a jig to supposedly make installation a no brainer, however, the “No brainer” goes to the fellah that designed the jig. The light fixture is 4 ¼ inch in diameter. The jig is 4 inches. You need to make certain the hole in the ceiling is 4 ¼ inch, or the light fixture will not fit snugly.The lights are dimmable, which I use all the time. It’s very convenient. I also live in a forest, with many trees, and was concerned that the lights would not be bright enough. These lights are more than adequate, and have never needed to set it to its highest setting. I do wish though that there was an easier way to change the color. There are five stages of color that range from 2700k – 50000k. The switch to change the color is on the junction box. Once installed there is no easy way to get to the junction box. I wish there was a remote device to control the color. That would have been convenient. Nevertheless, once I found the desired color, these lights became a set-it-and-forget-it solution. The dimmable switch is a light saver, and I am very happy to be basking in these lights.If you want lights that are easy to install, energy efficient, dimmable, has five levels of colors and won’t leave your wallet in the dark, than these lights are a bright way to go.

Like most folks, I am constantly thinking of ways to make my home look better, and stay updated. Therefore, when I got the chance to get these ultra thin LED recessed lights, I did not hesitate. They are advertised as having New generation LED chips, which produce higher lumens, with lower power, while consuming only 9 Watts, for 750LM, equaling 75W incandescent lamp, saving up to 90% in energy costs. They are supposed to have 5 different color temperatures, from 2700k to 5000k, and be able to operate between 3%-100% smooth dimming, and are compatible with most dimmers, while being anti-glare and scratch-resistant. As I have been, previously, shocked a few times, I don’t do electricity stuff. So, once my electrician has room, on his schedule, for me, I will get these up, in my kitchen. If everything works as advertised, I will be very happy to have them. Fingers crossed.

These four inch recessed lights have been amazing. We were able to replace our previously installed living room and kitchen 4 inch can lights with these relatively easily. I love that the LEDs have various temperature settings depending on what room and style of lighting you prefer. These are incredibly easy to install even in existing finished ceilings. We had existing holes that worked great, simply wired up the included junction box and then plugged in the light.I love that each junction box comes with three easy wire connectors so I don’t have to mess around with wire nuts, they feel super secure and haven’t come loose. Each J box does have three different knock-outs you can use depending on the angle and wiring. These do not come with any sort of grommet to protect the wires from the knock-outs so they can be a bit sharp and if you’re not careful you could wind up with some challenges. This however is an easy fix with some additional grommets you can buy if needed for your situation.

... like color selection AFTER installation.The color setting is on the junction box. Each light has a box, and each needs to be set individually.Would have been nice if 1 box could drive 4, 6, or all lights. I think this was an easier manufacturing decision.It's a bit of a challenge running wire in a ceiling so it's really only an "Easy Install" on new construction, or if there is power available near each hole. And if you do, you'll need to do cabling through a small 6" hole.Just a tad misleading I would say. It is easy to install the LED, but not so much the box that drives it. The fine print says 'access to above ceiling required' which will be just about never, so why even bother with the easy install exaggeration?Dimming is always touch & go with LED's I used a Sunco Smart dimmer and they worked perfectly.Brightness is excellent, and color choices are great.

It's mood lighting on steroids, folks.Please reduce the light: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Sometimes you want to light up the room like Times Square on New Year's Eve, and sometimes you just want a soft glow that leads you to the refrigerator for a midnight snack. Just turn it off and set the mood for whatever shenanigans you're up to. Get what you pay for: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐You get 24 high quality lights for that price, which isn't much. In short, if you're looking for lighting that's easy to install, customizable to your liking, and inexpensive, look no further than the 4-Inch 5CCT 24-Pack Ultra-Thin Recessed LED Ceiling Lights has connector.
