Easy to install and look great! They are a little wobbly against the wall but I’m not sure if that’s the fault of the shelf itself or my wall. Regardless, they are holding up fine and displaying light decor well. I wouldn’t put any more than 10 pounds on them, but they are great for lighter weight items.

The mounting bracket runs across most of the back length of the shelf. This provides a lot of options to hit at least one wood stud during installation while being able to place the shelf in the exact location you want (please hit two wood studs if you can). I've used other floating shelf kits that didn't provide enough mounting points that limited shelf placement, so I think this shelf kit got it right by spanning more of the back with mounting bracket options. There are about two inches on each side of the back of the shelf that the mounting bracket does not cover. It would be even better if it extended out even further to provide more options, but I did find it to be sufficient as-is to hit two studs that are 16 inches on-center.I also like that this kit has small screws that attach on the bottom of the shelf going up into the metal mounting bracket inside the shelf. This prevents forward slippage over repeated vibrations and use so that the shelf will not slip off the mount or inch forward in any way.The kit comes with way more mounting screws and drywall anchors than you could ever realistically need. I actually really appreciated this, because I ended up using some of these to mount other items into drywall. The included anchors and screws are of a good quality for wood stud or drywall mounting, so I found plenty of other uses and put the extras into my toolbox for later use!I love the look of floating shelves. They're just kind-of magical, floating there in space. Behind the illusion, they are of course doing plenty of "work", holding all of that weight, so please do not underestimate the need to mount into wood studs or concrete. If you only drill into drywall, even when using quality anchors, at least in my experience, you will see sag over time. If you only have drywall and no studs are available at the mounting location, a floating shelf may not be a great option for you.As shown in the pictures, these are handsome-looking shelves. There are two shelves included in the kit (just one is shown in my pictures, as I placed the other in a different location). I mounted them into studs, and you can tell they are strong enough to hold the books, but the shelves do move just a little bit when you're taking something off or putting something on to the shelf. I think this is ok, and it's just part of the nature of these kinds of shelves that magically hang in space. The nature of a floating shelf means you should be careful not to pull down on the shelf with your own weight or accidentally lean on the shelf. If you have a good mounting point, a floating shelf can be a great aesthetic upgrade to your space!

I like the color and I appreciate how easy it is to install. Definitely didn't have to worry about doing it myself!

Mounting these was pretty easy but man are they heavy! Which is a good thing, they can definitely hold a significant amount of weight and are sturdy and durable. Wood seems like good quality and durable.

It's not often that I'm this impressed by a product. Everything about the design, product packaging, instructions and installation was excellent.These are very durable and solid wood shelves designed with a very sturdy mounting system that is easy to install. It's clear that much attention has been paid to detail down to extra install parts and even a small level to help make installation easy. Select a size and finish of your choice or purchase the natural finish and paint to your color of choice.I highly recommend this item.
