Q: What is the Thickness of the receiver (the thinnest area)

The thin part is about 3/4 inch thick. Only thing I don't like about this control is it has no reverse!

Q: Des this remote with well with Hunter Fans?

It works perfectly with my Hunter Fan.

Q: Will your remote receiver combo work with dimmable LED bulbs?

Yes, it seems to. My problem is that the lower light only find, doesn't turn off. Works well otherwise!

Q: Is this meant for fans with 2 distinct lights? If i only have 1 light fucntion should i just cap the "up" light so i can dim my lights?

Get a different unit if you only have one light. Mine has both up and down lights and three speeds for the fan. Keep looking until you get the right replacement unit.
