Simple and comfortable
My trusty Gigabyte gaming mouse finally died and I needed a replacement. Disappointed that the Gigabyte model was no longer available, I was on the hunt for something that offered a similar feature set at a reasonable price. I don't need dozens of buttons or a fancy light show in my palm, what I wanted was a simple mouse with the standard thumb accessible back/forward buttons and easy doing adjustment. This Amazon mouse is good. It does have fancy lighting, but it's not nearly as over the top as some other designs I've seen. The mouse wheel has a nice clicking action to it and the back/next buttons feel natural for thumb presses. The dpi button is nice, although I feel like there are more options than necessary. Each click cycles through ever more sensitive dpi settings and changes the color of the illuminated dpi light. Red is the least sensitive and pink the most. I leave it set on green, about the middle, most of the time. For certain games and graphic applications it's nice to be able to toggle to a more or less sensitive setting. In the hand the mouse feels good enough. I'd prefer a slightly nicer feeling plastic for the top of the mouse and maybe a little more weight overall to make it feel a bit more solid. The rubber used in the thumb pad feels great though and it slides comfortably around my desk. The USB cable is a great length, looping across my desktop to a tower on the floor on the opposite side of my desk. The cable itself is sheathed in nicely braided black nylon.Given the price it's hard to argue with the value this thing provides. It's comfortable and gets the job done at a good price.

Great for the price
The adjustable DPI works really well, and the software that comes with it is great. I love the customizable side buttons, I have them set to copy and paste for web browsing and whatever is useful for gaming. It's not a high end mouse though. For example, if you're at a certain angle from the mouse, the LED from the scroll wheel shines directly in your eye and it's super bright. It's still a really nice mouse though, I don't think it can be beat for the price.

Very good with some minor gripes
The software is very simple and flexible. The pointer movement and accuracy is good, at least for my casual gaming and general computing needs. I switched to this mouse from an old Logitech M510 which was starting to experience very poor wireless performance every time the battery dropped a little bit, like well before the low battery indicator came on. The Amazon mouse is a similar size though it's shaped slightly different. It's only taken me a few minutes to get used to the difference. Some minor gripes (and they're pretty nit-picky, I will admit):1. The cord with the nice cloth braided outer cover is nice, but the way it's bundled in the packaging means it's stiffly retaining the folds and bends running across my desk. I've tried to straighten it out to some effect, hopefully it will relax over time.2. The forward and back buttons on the left side are somewhat oddly positioned - I think they would be better a little further forward. Also there's no strong distinguishing shape or texture to help you know which button your thumb is on. I don't use these buttons much so it's not a big deal to me, but it may be to others.3. The textured feel of the whole mouse is great, but the rubber side grip on the right side doesn't go far enough forward to catch where my ring finger rests. All things considered, so far it seems like a great mouse considering the affordable price point.

A definite budget buy!
This mouse works beautifully!Considering the cheap price compared to other brands, and previous reviews of other Amazon-branded products, I wasn't sure if this would work very well. Sure enough, I set the polling and DPI real quick and fire up Overwatch. I end up winning all of the 3 competitive matches I tested, on 1200 DPI and 1000Hz polling rate - something I'd rarely get on my old CM Devastator II mouse! The mouse generally feels comfortable in my hand, considering I have average large hands. My wrist lays flat on the mousepad, a good sign that it doesn't aggravate carpal tunnel.Good mouse!
